CNBC Reports About Paris Hilton And Can Can

Here’s a coverage from CNBC, discussing the success of Can Can.

I disagree with some of their comments. It’s not just about marketing (hate when they think like that), it’s also about offering quality products. If you think starring Paris Hilton in a movie like Bottom’s Up will mean instant success, think again! I say no to crappy movies or music. And about the singing and acting, it’s also about singing and acting, and Paris has said many times that she wants to them seriously (and we’re still waiting) unless if she changed her mind (unlikely, hint: Repo!).

Even if she just thinks about marketing, it doesn’t always lead to success. It’s usually business people surrounding her who think like that. But Can Can is one example of a quality Paris Hilton product, from what I’ve heard and seen. Great Marketing + Great Product = Praises. Paris released a great album, but people just didn’t see her as an artist. But that’s another point.

I think the people CNBC weren’t thinking wisely and all we see is $, which is what the coverage is about. Normal… since the network is about money.

I love how Paris created such a strong brand out of her name, love her or hate her she knows what people wants. I just wish this success in perfume also hits her second album too! She needs to put out a hot, sexy, new album and sell loads of copies! Even though people HATE Britney they buy her CD because the music is good!

Come on Paris! I’m waiting for in order: Second Album, Repo!, Hottie, Clothing/Jacket/Shoe/Denmin line to hit the Pacific Northwest stores, new MENS cologne, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST FOR HER TO COME TO SEATTLE FOR A MEET&GREET!

I have all her parfumes and they are all good. There is nothing wrong with Paris being a good business woman, she is a multi-tasker and can be successful in several areas.

Admin – PLEASE put up the photo of Paris advertising her new Parlux watches.
Paris looks super good in that ad!

I don’t think the report was bad as such, just limiting and only part of the story. I’ll agree with the criticisms that Paris isn’t just about marketing and that her films and music are important (and it’s certainly not true that all her fans are teenage girls), but I think it was meant positively enough and it’s always nice to see people not bashing her or being prepared to praise or defend her to some degree. I guess the perfect news report or analysis of Paris’s activities and appeal to others would have to be an amalgamation of the positive reports out there.

In other news, I finally (through the help of a friend) found a UK company that would accept a cheque for one of Paris’s male fragrances. Yay me 😀

Many Hilton fans are actually the mothers and grandmothers.
I always get gift cards from mine to buy more Hilton stuff LOL.
The reason Paris has prospered in spite of the old tape is PRECISELY because older women understand all too well what Solomon et al tried to do to Paris.
Guess nothing beats a little life experience with nasty exes.LOL.

I really love can-can. The earthy vibe is great and like my previous favorite, Heiress, it’s light, so you can reapply wihtout ever overdoing it.
