Thank you for helping many of us (especially those outside the US) to see the entire series 🙂

I’ve enjoyed most of the show and would buy it on DVD, but before seeing the first few episodes I would probably have felt it just wasn’t for me.

Great finale!!
If there is a second season I hope they bring back Onch in a permanent capacity, he really livens things up and adds to the show.

I also hope we get to see more of Paris shopping and going to interesting places around the globe.
Such as last night, when she took out Brittany for a $1000.00 ice cream sundae.

With the reunion special, the finale, and the “inner circle” special it was a Paris Hilton night at MTV. Which was great.

I also loved Paris’s aunt Kylee Richards doing the splits on the “inner circle” show.

BFF was great fun. I love you Paris!

Just wanted to add that maybe MTV could allow the viewers to help vote for the next bff too.
People would respond as long as they don’t have to register.
MTV could allow one call per day/per person in order to prevent abuse.

Also, maybe MTV could work in Paris’s new album somehow. The exra exposure can’t hurt.

I was disappointed with the finale and it left a really sour taste in my mouth. I think Paris made the wrong choice and I could see nothing worth celebrating by the end of it.

I liked it. I think Brittany should win (my favourites were Shelly and Kayley, but…). A next season would be great, but, please, NO MORE Ounch!

Have you guys also checked the Reunion Special? Is actually very funny.

I don’t think Paris found a “perfect” BFF with this show. I wanted Vanessa to win because I know she’d be a great friend for Paris. It’s just that she’s too “attached” to her, and maybe that’s the main reason why Paris didn’t choose her. I still like her more. I like Brittany, too.

Great, great show! The series showed the real side of Paris as we know. This is exactly what Paris needed to show the public who she really is. All the Simple Lifes series and the dumb blonde image are now old stuff (but Simple Life is still favourite!). It’s shows like ParisBFF that we need in the future!

I think it’d be a great idea to do another series. I really enjoyed watching every episode!

I hope we’ll be able to see the British version, too. 🙁

Mat M.,

I know you live outside of the states. Where did you watch Reunion Special? I’m missing the Thanksgiving, Reunion and Aftershow specials.

Honestly between the two, I think Vanessa should have won. She seriously seems she was there for Paris and would be a sweet loving friend! But overall I really wanted Kayley to win! She was a character!

vanessa def should have won! she was so cool and cute and brit was a bitch mess! hate her….

between the two i thought brittany should win, so i’m glad she did. while vanessa was also a good choice, the “infatuated-stalker” issue was definitely there. she did gush a bit too much.

paris’ aunt kyle really summed it up during the inner circle show when she said paris attracks too many “yes” people, who end up hurting her, and that was vanessa – a yes person..

also, in the closing speeches before elimination, i think brittney captured the vanessa issue very succinctly as well when she said that if vanessa won, it would be a fan winning a contest to be with their idol, which is not the same as a true friend.

all in all the best person for paris won in the end. and while i loved a whole evening of paris, 2.5 hours in front of the Tv to watch all 3 shows, more if you watched the re-runs, was waaaay too much for me. i almost wished they had run only the reunion show and waited until next week for the finale and inner circle shows.

oh, and what the hell with that Zui-creature? WFT is a “suicide-girl?” I really would rather not give her the website hit to find out…anyone already know?

now i can’t wait for the dvds. i’m very glad i was wrong about this show. last year when it was first announced, i really thought mtv would screw paris and make her look like a tila tequila catastrophe show. afterall, they did let sara silverman throw her under the bus! but it turned out great.

and i’m glad they dropped the original idea of paris living in the house with the bffs. all the challenges were great and well thought out to rep parts of paris’ life and personality. hope the brit version airs soon.

but i did wonder why her dad was so casually dressed for the masquerade ball….

I’m not sure but I think the Suicide Girl thing is a kind of modelling website for the more Goth look.

Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion of course, but for me the last episode ruined the series for me. If I had known beforehand who was going to win I think I would have switched off by the 20 odd minute mark. Ultimately Paris chose to reward the bitchiest, nastiest and the most like a school bully girl. At least other contestants got told to their face and a last friendly hug when they were eliminated. Loyal Vanessa got sent to an empty hotel room and a note. Cruel!

Brittany talked about the look Vanessa gets when she’s jealous. Well, Brittany certainly threw quite a few jealous looks and reactions throughout the episode too, but I guess it’s alright when it’s her (what’s part of Vanessa’s “fakeness” is part of Brittany’s “realness” I suppose). Brittany also talks about Vanessa being a psycho stalker, but the way she used most of her time with Paris to constantly badmouth her rival could be seen as being stalker or jealous psycho behaviour too. She seemed more obsessed with putting one over on Vanessa than in actually getting to know Paris. She said she didn’t realise her and Paris would have so much in common. So why did she enter the contest if she didn’t think they had much in common? Exposure probably. Paris appreciated Vanessa plenty of times throughout the series and yet seems to have just betrayed her in the end to go for the “street credibility” vote. Brittany seems like just the kind of nasty vindictive person that Paris has probably had to get rid of plenty of times in the past.

Much as I enjoyed a large part of the series, I don’t think I’d want to invest my time in another series just to see Paris reward the biggest bitch or the nastiest person at the end of it.

I’m glad Brittany won!
Vanessa is an apple polisher and I did not like the way she gossiped to Paris right away in the first episode.
Vanessa-type personalities can turn into leeches very quickly, so imho Paris made a good choice.

Since it was a contest, in the end both girls dished out as good as they got. So it was entertaining, which of course was the whole point of the show.

I actually thought Vanessa was the bigger bitch and more backstabbing, but that’s just my impression.

We also have to keep in mind that Paris has been interacting with both finalists since then, so it probably softened the blow.
There will no doubt be other BFFs around the world, at least that’s what I hope.

damn another post lost to the phantom- security code- switcharoo!

well in the end i think most of them would have been okay, and many of the girls had good qualities. i must say I really liked Kaley, but the party-girl didn’t fit paris’ new public image.

i’m sure when paris wants a rowdy time, she’d be happy to toss down with kaley!

django, not sure i agree with everything you said about brittany. she just was never the girly-girl from the start like most and so may have been a little out of her element alot of the time. but given that, she was open-minded to changing.

let’s face it they all had bitchy, drama moments so i can’t fault any of them for a bit of drama, it was a stressful competition afterall.

but i agree with jen, i always thought vanessa was a bit too adoring, defintely potential to be a SWF meets Fatal Attraction chick! the whole asking brittnay to change seats in the plane & then sleeping on paris in the helicopter was a bit too creepy

anyaways can’t wait for the brit version.
