Paris Hilton declines offer to appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

    Reported by Radar Online

Paris Hilton was asked by the producers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills to appear on the hit Bravo show finale alongside her two aunts, Kyle and Kim Richards, but had to decline because she will be out of the country traveling, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

“Paris was asked to be a part of the finale which will take place in mid-July,” a show insider tells RadarOnline.com. “She is a big fan of the show and totally supports her family appearing on it, but had to decline because she will be out of the country. Paris will be extremely busy promoting her new album, and just has too much going on right now to commit to taking on anymore projects.

“Producers were hopeful Paris would be able to be a part of the finale, which they could have promoted and publicized. Paris definitely would have greatly bolstered the ratings for the finale, but, her schedule just couldn’t accommodate it. Paris’ aunts, Kim and Kyle also wanted her to be on the show, but they completely understand.”

Paris Hilton knocked into a wall in a paparazzi scuffle

    Reported by E! Online

A paparazzo who claims that he was knocked around in the scuffle involving Hilton and pal Brandon Davis last night exclusively tells E! News that he is seriously considering suing the heiress.

“It’s not my style, but honestly? I’m in a lot of pain,” says shutterbug Brian Barrera, who was on his way into his lawyer’s office in Beverly Hills when we caught up with him.

Of course, he wasn’t the only one caught up in the scrum.

Hilton was knocked into a wall as a pack of paps closed in on her—and at least one of them managed to capture her descent for posterity.

Barrera, meanwhile, says his neck and ears “really hurt,” and he’s weighing his legal options.

The incident, which occurred outside the new Hollywood club Bootsy Bellows, did not involve police.

Kathy Hilton: “I’m very very proud” of Paris

In an interview with Haute Living, Kathy Hilton shared her thoughts on Paris and Nicky’ success as businesswomen.

HL: Many people associate your daughter Paris with putting reality television on the map. Her show The Simple Life was a smash hit show for many seasons. Have any of your other children thought about doing a reality television show?

KH: Not right now. Everyone is busy with different projects, maybe if the right thing came along but not right now.

HL: How proud are you of your daughters? Paris and Nicky have are accomplished businesswomen. Paris’s fragrances have generated a billion dollars and counting. Nicky has a successful jewelry line. How does it feel to watch them grow and succeed in their various endeavors?

KH: I’m very very proud. But more than that, they are nice girls. I see some people enjoy a little success and they change, they’re not nice to fans etc. People get very caught up and it’s upsetting to see that. I love the way they’ve kept their feet on the ground. They both work very hard, sometimes traveling close to 300 days a year.

HL: What would say are some of the biggest misconceptions about you and your family?

KH: Well perception is not always reality. That is for sure. Were just like any other family, we have our disagreements sometimes. We spend a lot of quality time together, with BBQ’s, cooking together, we hike together etc. I’m kind of the one that everybody comes too and I do love it. I’m like the little psychiatrist. My sisters and I, we all mother each other, now that my mother is gone. We are all very close with our nieces and nephews.

My mother was the closest person in the world to me. She taught my sisters and I really good values. She was young enough to spend time with all of our children. Unfortunately she passed away from breast cancer about nine years ago. We were taught to be grateful, to be humble, to be nice, to make an effort and to give back.

Paris Hilton: “Music is my personal passion”

    Reported by E! Online

Paris Hilton made her big-time professional DJ debut at the bash, playing a one-hour set for thousands of concert goers.

“I had so much fun deejaying at the Pop Music Festival,” the 31-year-old heiress exclusively tells E!. “I could not have been happier with the crowd’s reaction to my set. It felt so good to be in control of the party and see everyone dancing!”

Hilton took the stage after Lopez and Clarkson’s performances, closing the show with songs like Rihanna’s “We Found Love” and her own brand new single “Last Night.”

Hilton says she’s been spending lots of time perfecting her skills on the turn tables. “Recently I have been working in the studio with DJ Poet, who produces and deejays for the Black Eyed Peas,” she dished.

“I also spent the last year traveling to different shows around the world with Afrojack,” she says. “This was a great experience, to watch how he engages the crowd and creates great energy at these parties.”
