Paris Hilton interviewed at Fairy Dust promo event in San Francisco

Interviewer: What do you do to take care of your hair and skin?

“I have my own hair care line of shampoos and conditioners and treatments, so I use that. I go to the spa for facials once every two weeks. I really take care of my skin; I always moisturize and use under-eye cream. I’ve been doing that since I was a little girl. When I was 12, my mom told me to always take care of my skin. That’s good advice because most girls don’t do it until they’re older.”

Interview: What was it like to shoot the ad campaign?

I was hanging in a harness, so it was really hard to do the shoot. They wanted my legs to be perfect, so I was hanging the whole time, which wasn’t really comfortable. I worked out a lot and did a lot of Pilates beforehand. My outfit was very revealing, so I wanted to be sure to look good.

Interview: Do you think that your party-girl image lines up with the business success you’ve had?

I feel that people don’t know what’s going on. All the tabloids like to talk about is me going to parties, which is what I did when I was, like, 16 years old. I think that some people still see that image even though I’m a businesswoman, I’m running a huge brand and empire. A lot of people don’t know that because the media just likes to focus on making up lies or on negative things. If people meet me or come to my office or showrooms and see what I’m doing, they’re very surprised. It’s good when I meet people and they can see through the misconceptions.

Paris Hilton launches Fairy Dust at Macy’s in San Francisco

As expected, Paris Hilton launched and promoted Fairy Dust Macy’s in Union Square, in San Francisco.

The first 300 fans who bought the Fairy Dust fragrance set met Paris, took a picture with her and received her autograph.

Blogger Reyhan Harmanci interviewed Paris and covered the event in his article on SF Gate’s website. This is one of my favourite types of article where everything is described in details. Check out it. It’s an interesting read!

Why some people hate the movie, according to Repo! director

New York Post’s Jarett Wieselman (an unlikeable magazine well-known for being anti-Paris) wrote an article about his interview with the Repo! director. The article has a misleading title “Paris Is Keeping People From Seeing My Movie, Says Director.”

But if you read the transcript of the interview, you’ll notice that the director didn’t say Paris was keeping the public from seeing Repo! He made a few comments about the Hottie and the Nottie.

“I think the majority of hate people have for this movie isn’t because it’s a musical or bloody, it’s because Paris’ name is on the poster. And that’s sad because she’s great in it [ed note: she’s decent]. It’s the same thing with “The Hottie and the Nottie,” that was on TV last night and I watched it and laughed like five or six times. If her name wasn’t on that movie, it would have gotten at least four stars, right now it’s got zero and that’s because she’s in it,” Darren Lynn Bousman said to the NYP.

Like juju said, perhaps it would be good idea if other actresses and actors help promote the movie with Paris. Where’s Sarah Brightman, Alex Vega, Paul Sorvino…? I don’t like it when they depend on Paris or when it’s always Paris who does the promo work!

BTW, the inteview is very interesting. Check it out.

Paris Hilton is doing another movie called “Pedal to the Metal”

Breaking News!

Paris Hilton revealed that she’s going to film a new movie Pedal to the Metal. This must be plot of the movie, if it’s the correct one: “When seventeen-year-old Martin sneaks out of the house to escape his strict father and attend a rock concert, a series of events leads him to hijack the rock star’s tour bus and hold her at gunpoint in a bid to lose his virginity.”

“Well, I just got back from London last night. I was shooting Paris Hilton’s My British Best Friend and I’m gonna be doing other ones across the country. And I have a new show, which is a hybrid reality show based on my life, with Ryan Seacrest producing it. And I’m doing another film called Pedal to the Metal, which is a comedy where I play a rock star,” Paris said to Femail.

Paris Hilton talks about her second album

Interviewer: What are your main passions, in terms of your music and your acting now? And how hard is it to balance a music career with an acting career? How does that new album reflect who you are at the moment?

“It’s so much fun for me. I’m doing what I love to do. I live every day as if it’s my last, and just live life to the fullest. And with my brand, I can basically do whatever I want. And I always try to - no matter where I go, incorporate everything together, so if I have to promote a movie or my line or something, it’s just all incorporated together. I can do it all at once.”

“Well, there’s a lot of songs on there. Some of the songs are actually on FlaghouseMedia.com, as well. I have a song called “Jailhouse Baby.” The song’s just about my life, and things that have happened. And I wrote every song on them, so it was a lot of fun just to show my fans and everyone, through music, about my life.”

Paris Hilton had to pick and buy Amber Sweet’s clothes!

Interviewer: ”And I hear you contributed a lot to the costume wardrobe. Amber wears some pretty out-there ensembles…”

“I was really inspired by Yves Saint Laurent and Vivienne Westwood and then David LaChapelle pictures and Courtney Love’s look. The movie was very low-budget, but I wanted to make sure I had great clothes so I brought, like, 10 suitcases full of amazing outfits.”
