Paris Hilton’s Diamond Quest to be released in India

    Written by Indian Express

Indian fans of Hollywood hottie Paris Hilton can now jet set around the world with her, thanks to a cellphone game created by the socialite, that has been launched exclusively in the country.

Paris Hilton’s Diamond Quest, the first official mobile game from the controversial hotel heiress, has been launched in the country as part of a collaboration between Reliance Mobile and US-based mobile games company Gameloft.

“Indians love celebrities and movies. Therefore we decided on this unique offering of a game based on a world famous celebrity and will also be coming up with games based on super-hit Hollywood movies,” said Krishna Durbha, head of Reliance Communications in a press statement.

The game features Hilton in her trademark style with jewels, pets and flashy outfits. It offers players the chance to hop on board her private jet and travel the globe with her, searching for exceptionally rare jewels for her own line of jewellery.

Former manager wants to release a book about Paris Hilton

    Written by NY Daily News

The man who says he created Paris Hilton now wants to take her apart.

Just when this week’s MTV documentary about her had Paris floating on air, we had to call and bum her out with the news that her estranged manager, Jason Moore, is shopping a book about her.

Hilton rep Dawn Miller sounded none too pleased when we told her that publishers are bidding on Moore’s book about the star-making machinery behind Paris’ rise.

It’s being pitched as a business book about how Moore molded “this blond piece of clay into a global icon” with a reality TV franchise and fashion and beauty lines.

But editors are also expecting Moore, who says he didn’t sign a confidentiality agreement, to dish on behind-the-scenes drama.

“Jason will demonstrate how, for 10 years, he managed to save his mercurial client from disgrace by manipulating the media, and Paris herself,” according to a pitch letter making the rounds. “Paris was oftentimes her own worst enemy, making a sex tape with a former boyfriend, nursing hangovers during photo shoots, falling asleep everywhere, and getting thrown in jail for numerous driving violations. If Paris Hilton didn’t have Jason Moore pulling the strings, cleaning up her messes … she could well have faded into oblivion.”

Moore, who’ll call his memoir “Controlling Chaos,” says the girl unkindly branded a “celebutard” was more than willing. “[She] spent hours at a time posing in front of the mirror, nailing down the ideal position to create the perfect paparazzi photo.”

Her hope, he says, was to become “the kind of character … that would land commercials, international endorsements, film and television roles.” He winkingly adds, “… and the man (or maybe even the girl) of her dreams.”

Moore, described in the proposal as Hilton’s “Wizard of Oz-like manager,” will also talk about the temptations he saw – “the all-night partying; easy access to women and drugs.”

Moore and Hilton parted ways last year amid reports that his wife was fed up with the time he was devoting to his client.

Moore denied that, telling Us Weekly, “There were a lot of reasons – both personal and professional – for the split, but nothing had anything to do with my marriage.”

Moore and his Literary Group agent, Frank Weimann, declined to comment.

Hilton, who recently returned from taping a new international version of her “BFF” series in Dubai, also had no comment. But a friend of hers claims, “Given the legal issues, I’d be surprised if this book sees the light of day.”

Press release about the premiere of “Paris, Not France”

Will the real Paris Hilton please stand up? MTV, in partnership with Paris Hilton, debuts a new documentary “Paris, Not France” that provides viewers with a never-before-seen look at Paris Hilton’s life. The special, premiering on Tuesday, July 28(th) at 8:30PM (ET/PT), follows the media magnet around the world from red carpets to business meetings to photo shoots, providing a back stage pass into what it really takes to maintain the life, business and brand of Paris Hilton.

The documentary, shot in 2006 in London, New York, Tokyo, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, strips away the glamour and provides an intimate look at the real person and real life of the self-made starlet. Featuring commentary from her family, close friends and the media, Paris shares with viewers some of her most treasured home videos from her childhood, talks candidly about her set-backs and controversies along her rise to fame, and provides viewers with a raw look at a side she has never before shared publicly.

Often considered just a partying heiress, “Paris, Not France” shows Paris as a passionate and focused entrepreneur who travels the world to pursue her business and branding ventures. When retracing the steps during her swift climb to the A-List, Hilton recalls, “Paris the Heiress was a character I made up.”

The film dives into the evolution of the Paris Hilton phenomenon, the ongoing love affair between Paris and the worlds media, and how it defines this moment in culture.

“Despite all the criticism and misunderstanding of Paris, there is no doubt that she is one of the biggest and most recognizable icons of our generation,” said Adria Petty, film director and producer.

“Paris, Not France” was an official selection of the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival and has never aired in the US.

Immediately following the film at 10:00PM (ET/PT), viewers can expect an all-new episode of “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF.” On August 4(th) at 10:00PM (ET/PT) MTV will air the series finale as Paris chooses her new BFF.
