Paris Hilton’s new album will be out by summer 2009

The second album has been postponed again until Summer 2009. Paris was quoted saying that it is “basically finished.”

In an interview with a Canadian newspaper, she said: “I’m just doing a couple more songs and as soon as I have time I’m going to plan out a tour. It’s just hard with my schedule.”

Paris, who was recently in Japan for promotional reasons, answered a few more questions:

Is she obsessed with being taken seriously?

“I am taken very seriously as a businesswoman, in the business world and by the people I do business with. If anyone wants to say otherwise, they have no idea what they’re talking about.”

The interviewer, Bill Harris, asked her more of the usual questions, so you can read more about the interview here (another anti-Paris article).

Is something wrong between Paris Hilton and Brittany Flickinger?

Kate Taylor, a journalist from the journal The Globe and Mail, had the chance to interview the Repo! actress, Paris Hilton.

As part of the promotion of Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend in Canada, “The Globe, which was asked to submit questions in advance for a 10-minute interview, was instructed not to ask about her current relationship with Brittany Flickinger, the winner of last season’s contest held in Los Angeles.”

Nevertheless, Taylor asked her about Brittany Flickinger, and Paris’ response was a simple “Um. It’s great.” Ah! Something bad must have happened between the two?

When she was asked about hiding her friendship with the winner, she said: “We just have to be really secretive and deal [with it], and you know they have to come over to my house in private, and not be photographed together or anything until the show has finished. I talk to all of them. Even the people who don’t win, I am still their friend. I am a nice person.”

She also said she’s not sure if she’ll have the time to film more BFF shows in other countries: “I just think it is a fun concept. I am obviously not going to do it around the world because I am way too busy for it but I will pick … certain places I’d like to do and it will be fun.”

In the interview, she said that her brand, including the clothing line, debut album and books, is her proudest achievement!

    Press release by CBS

Paris Hilton Joins Ferguson in Five Distinct Primetime Comedy Spots on March 2

Jim Parsons Appears in Character as Sheldon from “The Big Bang Theory” in the Five Spots on March 9

Craig Ferguson (“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson”) will host CBS’s Monday Night with a series of primetime comedic spots on March 2 and 9. The interstitials will lead into “The Big Bang Theory,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Two and a Half Men,” “Rules of Engagement” and “CSI: Miami.”

Paris Hilton joins Ferguson in a cameo role in the five distinct primetime comedy spots on March 2, the last of which teases her guest appearance on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” later that evening. Jim Parsons makes a special guest appearance as his character, Sheldon, from “The Big Bang Theory” in the five unique spots on March 9.

The spots are set in Ferguson’s shabby, but not chic, faux home, where Hilton and “Sheldon” join him, separately, for TV dinners and a night devoted to watching CBS’s five Monday night series.

“The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” is broadcast Monday through Friday, 12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT, following “Late Show with David Letterman.”
