Paris Hilton interviewed by Fabulous Magazine

    Paris Hilton - Fabulous

Fabulous Magazine confirmed that Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend starts Thursday 29 January, 9pm, ITV2 (that’s next week!).

Paris Hilton was interviewed by Fabulous Magazine. She’s also on the front page of the latest issue.

I’ve posted a few parts of the interview, but I suggest you to go to Fabulous Magazine’s website to read the full interview:

Halitosis or hideous dress sense are a given, but what other qualities would make you rule out a girl as your BBF?

I don’t like it when people are liars or users – girls who are just trying to be my friend for the wrong reasons. I’ve had a lot of people in my past who were friends with me just to get publicity. When I was young, my mom or sister used to have to point out if someone was using me to make a name for themselves – you know, linking arms with me on the red carpet and trying to get in every picture. But now I can see for myself when someone is just hungry for attention.

I have this great test to see if a girl’s a real friend. When we’re shopping I’ll pick out an outfit that I know looks hot and one that is awful. If my friend says the bad one looks good, I know she’s not a good friend.

    Who’s your dream best friend?

I love Angelina Jolie. She’s strong but gorgeous and uses her fame for good to make a big difference in the world. That’s a great quality. I’d have a lot in common with her.

With a cracking figure like yours, we bet you exercise and eat healthily?

Thank you. I used to be good and do Pilates three times a week and run and cycle too. But now I just don’t have time. And I eat everything, like fried foods, sodas, McDonald’s. And Cadbury Flakes are my favourite chocolate. I buy hundreds every time I’m in London.

Thanks to Daniel for the pic!!

Paris Hilton lost her camera in Australia

Update:  The camera was found and returned to Paris.

A couple of Australian news sites reported that Paris Hilton lost her photo camera during her Australia visit.

She misplaced the camera at the Bongo Virus party, but she’s eager to get it back.

Bongo Virus publicist Karen Griffin said: “She lost it in the chaos. It must have fallen out of her bag. She is disappointed as it has her personal photos of her visit on it. They are happy snaps and there are also some pictures from her trip to the snow before she came to Australia. It is the camera she had with her when she was on Bondi Beach. It is the camera she had with her when she was on Bondi Beach.”

“She also lost her mobile phone. That was left behind at the hotel in Sydney, but it was found and sent up to her on the Gold Coast,” she added.

The Repo! actress was shopping in Hollywood yesterday.

That song at the beginning of the video… is it her voice? An unreleased song?

Review of the special features on Repo! Blu-ray

A Repo! fan (xerotheory7803) wrote a review of the special features in the Blu-ray release on the Repo! board:

The features are a mixed bag:

I’ve only listened to one of the commentaries so far, the DLB/Mosely/Alexa/Ogre one, and its a fun listen. They seem to have a fun time doing it, and we learn a bit in the process.

The deleted scenes range from cool to pointless:

-Come Up And Try My New Parts: cool scene, but redundant when though about in context of the film, especially with Zydrate Anatomy.

-Needle Through A Bug: If we could see the entire sideplot that this song worked with, this scene would be much better. Still great though.

-Buon Giorno: Mainly, it was just cool to see what the little intro audio clip that has been on the Repo! website for the last few months came from. (“Ladies and good Gentlemen, welcome to the show!…”)

-Graverobber and Shilo Escape: pretty pointless, IMO. Same as them escaping in the film, but now Amber spots them and yells something at GR.

Trailer (in HD): Self explanatory, but it does look great in HD. I wish this would have actually gotten to play in theaters.

Poster Gallery (in HD): Again pretty self explanatory. All the propaganda posters you see in the film. cool little feature

The featurettes are all the same as we’ve seen on the website:

-Amber Sweet: Addicted To The Knife
-Blind Mag: The Voice of GeneCo
-From Stage To Screen (I’m pretty sure this is the same as the We Started This Opera Shit featurette)
-Legal Assassin: A Repo Man On The Edge

The sing-a-longs are pretty self explanatory too.

The select scene commentary with DLB and Paris isnt too interesting. DLB tries to give some insight, but Paris, as much as I’ve grown to like her over the last few years, isn’t very interesting to listen to on a commentary.

All in all, I would definitely recommend the Repo! BluRay to anyone who has the capabilities.

You can also read another interesting review by Repo! fan Logan DeSisto, whose opinion on the Blu-ray release is the different than the person who wrote the one above.

Repo!: #1 horror movie in Canada?

Repo! is ranked #1 in the Horror category on Amazon Canada in terms of sales. Note that Repo! is not really a horror movie, even though they classify it as such. It is also currently #22 in the overall DVD category. So it’s doing really well at the moment.

On Amazon US, it is ranked #62 in Movies and TV category. I think it’s amazing how the movie has grown its fan base over the months, despite the total lack of promotion.

Those who haven’t already seen it are in for a special surprise. You’ll probably either love it or hate it, but you’ll see a whole different side of Paris. It was difficult for me to follow the story when I first saw it last summer, mainly because I didn’t know the songs and the characters well enough. And it’s not easy to follow the story, but you guys are already exposed to the songs and to many scenes.

By the way, if you guys like Repo!, you should check out Queen of the Damned (my favourite movie). Repo! reminds me of this movie a lot!

“Needle Through a Bug” clip (deleted scene from Blu-ray)

Well, deleted scenes from the Blu-ray version are starting to appear online. Any time now, “Come Up and Try My Parts” will be leaked.

Unfortunately, deleted scenes aren’t included in the DVD (absolutely ridiculous!), and some of us don’t even have a Blu-ray player.

I’ll post the deleted scenes as long as they’re hosted on YouTube. This is the “Needle Through a Bug” scene. Watch it before they remove it:
