Promotion of “Paris, Not France”

Media superpower, the Associated Press, has done a good job of covering the premiere of “Paris, Not France.” Many news networks are reporting and commenting about the documentary!

The AP published a new article today. It doesn’t reveal much, but one review has shown up online with the title “Toronto: ‘Paris, Not France’ — Hilton, not interesting”. You know, it really doesn’t matter what these critics say. A negative documentary would’ve been something that might have entertained this critic who found it “boring”. Anyway, we and them see things differently! Read it if you want.

Finally, below is a video reportage by the AP:

ParisBFF to premiere on MTV and Star TV as well

According to a new Canadian press release, each episode of ParisBFF will be an hour long.

If you miss an episode, you can still watch it at MTV’s website. The reality show will also air on Star TV, which is a Canadian channel, owned by CTV, I think. So I think Canadians can also watch the show online on Star TV’s website. As for international fans, I don’t know!

MTV and Star TV will present a little Cast Special clip on Saturday, September 13 at 6 p.m. ET “giving viewers their first look at the 18 cast members.” I hope someone will film it!

Finally, here’s a new picture from the photoshoot.

Associated Press publishes article about the premiere of Paris, Not France

The AP released an article about the premiere of “Paris, Not France”. As reported, Paris travelled to Toronto to watch the film.

At the end, the director, Adria Petty, answered a few questions, but Paris didn’t. The documentary discusses about different aspects, such as her image, tabloid photographers and her business.

    Some of Petty’s comments:

“It’s amazing that this woman is a human being and that people actually can be ruthless enough to forget that. That’s the one thing about this movie and about that experience with her is I could have just been shooting fluff, but she gave me a lot more.”

“[She] created a mystery about herself that a film like this maybe wouldn’t have been a great thing for her in the past. But now, she’s been so saturated in the media. We’re so used to her. To see a new side of her is so exciting.”

Paris signed a few autographs before leaving the theater.

    “Paris, Not France” Trailer!

    BREAKING NEWS!

Finally, the video below is the trailer of the highly anticipated documentary “Paris, Not France”!

It will premiere tonight in Toronto! And guess what? Paris Hilton is attending it. So she must be somewhere in Toronto right now.

It’s just too bad that very few people have heard about it. Maybe Paris’ presence there will help it gain more attention, or attract people to the theatre.

What pisses me off the most is that I (or we) can’t be there to watch it with her. Tickets were still available a few hours ago!

This appears to be a very interesting documentary. It’s about time! A must-must see! Kind of reminds me of Paris Hilton Inc, though.

Paris Hilton and Britney Spears duet?

No, Paris Hilton isn’t planning to collaborate with Britney Spears. She just suggested the idea of making a song with her: “My new album’s out soon and it would be hot if I could do a duet with Britney. It is really poppy and sounds a bit like Kylie Minogue.”

It would, of course, be huge if Britney Spears ever agrees to do a duet with Paris Hilton!

I can’t confirm the accuracy of the quote, though.

Paris Hilton interviewed about having a family and future projects

I forgot to wish everyone a Happy Paris Hilton Day on August 29, 2008. I’m sorry about that! I remember that day very well. I was very busy and had other things in my mind! At least, I didn’t forget August 22!

Well, there’s nothing important to report. Paris has mostly been attending special events. Recently, she was asked if she is planning to have a baby (a very popular, but annoying media question). In this interview, she mentions some of her upcoming projects. Her three main projects are ParisBFF, new album and Repo!

“Paris, Not France” is supported by Paris Hilton

Forget about what I reported! My report was based on assumptions made by journalists. Paris Hilton fully intends to support her documentary “Paris, Not France”, and apparently, as many of you already know, she cancelled all of the screenings, except one, in order to create some “buzz” about it.

We all know that Page Six is trash, but in a recent article, they quoted Paris’ manager and here’s what he said: “We wanted to create more buzz – create some hype… We felt the impact would be more extreme if we had one screening.” The rule is: if they reveal the source, then the quote is not made-up. In this case, they used her manager’s name, so it’s not fake.

So Paris’ team wants to create some buzz and hype by reducing it to one screening. The problem is that the documentary hasn’t received any publicity. Associated Press first mentioned it in one of their articles, but we had to research to know more about it. “Paris, Not France” is still new and a mystery to me. But it really seems that the documentary means a lot to Paris. She’s planning to attend the screening.

Now this should be a VERY interesting documentary. No doubt, a must-see! Maybe it’s not gaining enough publicity, but I really can’t wait to see it one day! More exciting than the reality show lol.

Anyway, this is what the festival programmer replied to Page Six: “I wish we could do more, but it’s better than not showing it at all. She is a partner with the documentary and will be attending Tuesday’s screening in support of it.”

The documentary is 68 minutes long, by the way.

Also, new comments by Paris regarding her music: “The songs are just being mixed right now and should be done soon. I’ve got a recording studio at my house in Los Angeles and so we’ve been working there every night. It’s been fun. Our songs are just happy and fun dance music. It reflects what Benji and I are like together – happy and fun.”

Finally, I usually don’t report about stupid things, but I just found this so funny and dumb that I wanted to report it.

The hypocritical politicians once again used Paris in one of their ads. A Republican politician Brian Bilbray was attacked in this ad by Democratic rival, Nick Leibham.

The announcer in the video says: “What do Paris Hilton and Brian Bilbray have in common? Well, they both do nothing.” Wow! Apparently, Paris Hilton does NOTHING! And it’s being shown on TV. What a load of crap! For one thing, Paris does help the economy because she is a brand and sells products. So indirectly, she’s creating jobs! lol
