Paris Hilton To Sing And Perform With The Pussycat Dolls

This is a unconfirmed report. Paris Hilton will apparently sing and perform with the Pussycat Dolls on her birthday in Las Vegas.

According to thepost.com.pk, Paris said: “I’m designing my costume, something sexy. I’m going to practice all week, I’ve been the emcee for the Dolls, but this will be my first time singing and performing with them. I’m totally nervous but it should be fun.”

Well! We better see the video of this performance!

On a side note, you know the song “Don’t Cha” by the Pussycat Dolls? Before the Pussycat Dolls recorded it, they had offered the song to Paris, but she rejected it.

Also, during the promotional tour for her debut album, Paris said: “I have Robin Antin from the Pussycat Dolls choreographing, we had all these dancers come in and I hired four girls. I’m doing my voice lessons and getting ready.”

Paris Hilton News Crushed By Barron

Well, obviously, Paris Hilton’s brother Barron dominated her sister’s daily news.

Entertainment writers were busy today reporting about Barron’s arrest for driving under the influence and causing problems. Of course, the haters, too, jumped off their bed and started doing their work. One paparazzi had the opportunity to ask Paris for her comments: “I am sad for my little brother. I hear he is doing OK. I am there for him and will be speaking to him in an hour or so, hopefully, to lend my support.”

By the way, a few websites were still commenting about the Hottie and the Nottie. And they were saying that Paris’ movie career is now over. But these same “sources” probably haven’t even heard about Repo!

For example, one “source” claims: “After her attempts at being a pop star failed, she really wanted to be a proper actress. It’s hard to see how any studio or director will touch her after this.” That’s just empty talk.

We’ve already figured out the real reason why the movie flopped. The question is: Does Paris understand what the problem is?

    One Decent “Hottie” Reviewer?

There’s a decent article about the Hottie and the Nottie that actually reviews and talks about the movie, and not just about Paris Hilton.

Obviously, I doubt the Hottie and the Nottie is an awful movie, even though I haven’t seen it, but you can sense that it is at least, an OK movie, and the actors and actresses worked hard on it.

Here is a review that is neither positive or negative, but rather mildly positive:

“Critically speaking, casting Paris Hilton in your movie is the kiss of death. Because of who she is, and where she comes from, the majority of reviewers are destined to walk into “The Hottie and the Nottie” having already written their review in their head. It’s cool to hate Hilton, or so it seems, but judging a film before seeing even a frame of it simply because of a cast member is biased, unfair and frankly unprofessional for those who make a living (or a serious hobby) out of being a critic. And, at the risk of going against the obvious popular majority, it should be stated up front that “The Hottie and the Nottie” isn’t half-bad. In fact, for long sections, it’s actually better than anyone could have expected.” – by a non-bias movie critic Dustin Putman

Paris Hilton And Lindsay Lohan Did Not Fight Over Timberland

A new virus has just started to spread all over the internet. It was released by Fake site Mirror.co.uk. This is the same website that published an article during her jail time last year, stating that Paris was dropped by her record label.

It is said that Paris and Lindsay were trying to gain Timberland’s attention by insulting each other with quotes such as: “What the hell is that bitch doing here? I didn’t know she was on the list” and “F*** off you bitch.”

When you see quotes like those two in an article, it should be obvious they are fabricated by some writer.

Interestingly enough, this latest virus from Mirror is about Paris’ music. Apparently, their non-existent source told them: “Both of them want to work with Timbaland to revive their faltering music careers.”

It looks like reliable E! trusts Fake site Mirror.co.uk since they’ve mentioned the fake article in a new article, which was written and published today by E!’s Jennifer Cady.

Thanks to E! for their professional journalism and for encouraging the spread of lies.

“The Hottie And The Nottie” Isn’t Doing Well On Box Office

Despite being the third most popular and talked about movie of the week at the moment, on the famous Yahoo! Movies website, “the Hottie and the Nottie” didn’t attract a lot of people this weekend.

A few weeks ago, on the forum, I posted an article titled “Should We Be Worried About ‘Hottie’?” and warned that the movie may be heading towards disaster.

I know why that is happening now. It has nothing to do with Paris Hilton’s acting stills or her work, but probably everything to do with her public image and the ever rude public, itself. Even though the Hottie and the Nottie was savagely attacked by those so-called movie critics, we were expecting it to do OK, but you know, Paris was all alone in promoting it. The biggest mistake that most movie (and music) studios make is think that Paris’ fame is enough to make people want to see her movie.

It doesn’t work that way all the time (from past experience we already know), mainly because Paris always gets special treatment. 90% of the population still don’t have a neutral opinion about her, and the “mild” fans are never reliable. So nothing really has changed with the public.

Paris says she wants to ignore haters, but you can see the result. She just needs to do something to win over the soft haters (kinda like Angelina Jolie) and then, maybe people will be far less bias. It’s sort of a big challenge I guess.

Domestic total as of Feb. 10, 2008 is estimated to be at $25,000. A website reported that the Hottie and the Nottie is currently at #45 on Box Office (official results tomorrow). That means every theater earned $225. 111 theaters are playing the movie. In comparison, some movie named “Fool’s Gold” made $22 010 000 with 3 125 theaters.

    So normally, the Hottie and the Nottie should’ve made: 22 010 000 * 111 / 3 125 = 781795.2$

The amount of promotion they did wasn’t even huge, compared to Fool’s Gold, I suppose. The interviews were good, but they weren’t all done by major studios, except David Letterman and Ellen’s show. But I knew all along that all these little promotions weren’t generating enough interest. I just had to look at the stats.

However, even though it’s doing bad so far, we still must recognize Paris’ efforts and the amount of time she put to work on her acting skills with her coach. Her efforts in acting and music should not be ignored, even though they’re no longer her #1 priorities. And make no mistake about it, she knows good music and is a good enough actress to watch! I think most of us agree on that.

Maybe, with the upcoming Valentine’s Day, the movie may start doing a bit better. I probably have a lot more to say about this topic, but I’d like to know how you interpret those results, and let me know what went wrong.

    Paris Hilton Interviewed About Everything

    New Interview!

Barry Koltnow from ocregister.com did an interesting interview with Paris Hilton last Friday, during the launch of Paris Hilton’s shoe line collection, which by the way, will be posted online for you to view and buy. Hopefully, for this collection, unlike her clothing line, it will be better organized and available throughout the internet. I know many of you would like to view the whole collection. I also heard that Paris will do another launch for it next weekend at another Macy’s, but I can’t confirm it.

This latest interview covers virtually about everything, but it’s still well done with good questions, even though they’ve already been asked before.

    Enjoy!
