Let’s Talk About Paris Hilton’s Music In Repo!

    Repo! Music Info!

I’ve got some very interesting information about Paris Hilton’s music in Repo!

Paul Nomad, from DreadCentral.com, posted a full press conference about Repo! and its cast and crew. You also get to hear interviews with the writers of Repo!

Here are a couple interesting things about Paris Hilton’s music in Repo! You’ve read about her role as Amber Sweet, but what you didn’t hear about is what the media considers unimportant stuff. Well, it’s always like that.

According to the director and writer of Repo!, Paris Hilton’s songs in Repo! are nothing like her debut album. Darren Bousman, the director, says that her voice in the movie is “incredible,” and most of us agree after watching the trailer. It was quite different!

I don’t remember exactly the director’s words, but somewhere he says when they were auditioning for Amber Sweet’s role, everyone in the room didn’t want Paris before she took the stage and started singing. After she finished singing, she said “thank you” and then, left the stage (sweet!). Everyone was like “did that just happen?!” From that point on, their opinion on Paris changed instantly.

The writer says there are songs in which Paris sings solo. Overall, she sings in 10 songs (other singers included)!

Her greatest tune is “Come And Try My New Parts.” We’ve discussed about this one before. In the movie, she sings this song after she has surgery. Apparently, the drug, which comes from dead people, helps her and others relieve from surgery plain.

The writer adds that she hits high notes in some of her songs. And finally he says: “We auditioned several people for that role, and she definitely was the best. [The songs are] nothing like her album. When you hear it, you’ll know why.”

Hear the audio of the press conference and interviews here. Yes, you get to hear Paris speaking, also!

Paul Nomad, who works for a cause, also wants you to know that “Paris Hilton recently signed an art piece for a project called Qeetastrophe, benefiting St.Jude’s Hospital. Pic can be found at myspace.com/payback360.”

    Big thanks to Paul Nomad.

    Hallmark Finally Stops Joking Around

I have nothing else to say about this lawsuit. You can read what one of Hallmark’s reps had to say about Paris Hilton’s lawsuit against them and comment about it if you want:

“There is no likelihood that Hallmark’s use of the words ‘that’s hot’ in a parody greeting card would confuse consumers into believing that the greeting card is sponsored by or affiliated with Hilton.”

“Hilton apparently believes that she can control not only how she is commented upon, but who can say the words ‘that’s hot.’ The law, however, does not allow Hilton to quash such a portrayal, nor does it grant her the power to stop others from using her purported catchphrase to poke fun at her.”

Paris Hilton Renews Her Contract For Fila Korea

Singer/Actress Paris Hilton said in South Korea that she hopes to bring her clothing line there.

“I am very excited to be here, a great market for me. I think the Korean market is great for me,” the “Are You With It” singer said. On Monday, the “House of Wax” actress was a judge in a beauty contest.

An article claims that “the value of her one-year contract has been estimated at one million dollars.”

Fila Korea reported that Paris will host a charity event on Friday (today).

About the crazy media, Paris said “Basically I know they are doing their job. Everybody has their job to do. So I respect that” and “I just live my life how I do and don’t let it bother me, even though it can get out of control sometimes.”

I wish she could use the money she’s been making for charity projects, perhaps. Or invest in her career. No doubt, she’s been making a lot of money by just visiting places and promoting other brands. What I like is when she works for her own projects.

Nothing Else To Say, Hallmark Decides To Attack Paris Hilton Personally?

I’m sure you read Hallmark’s statement on Paris Hilton and her lawsuit against them on TMZ. When I first read it, I couldn’t believe it. And since TMZ didn’t provide a source and I couldn’t find it on their website, I wasn’t sure if I should’ve posted about it.

Then, FOX News and the Associated Press picked up the news from TMZ and reported it. Apparently, this is how Hallmark replied to Paris:

“Hilton has become a household name, based in large part on her efforts to draw attention to herself. Having done so, she has subjected herself to public scrutiny and the parodist’s pen. The First Amendment does not allow her to respond by welcoming the fawning and flattering, but silencing the critical and comical.”

Paris Hilton sued Hallmark Cards Inc. in U.S. District Court seeking an injunction and unspecified damages to be determined at trial.

What’s important is not what the statement says, but how Hallmart ignore the reason of the lawsuit and decided to talk about something else.

Anyway, it’s not so much important. The Paris Hilton news have been great lately, we can ignore this. I’m not a lawyer, but you can read a lawyer’s opinion about this here.

While we’re talking about the media and FOX, allow me to show you the hypocrisy of FOX News.
