Paris Hilton Continues To Enjoy Her Summer Break In Malibu

DESPITE a lack of swell and somewhat impractical swimming attire, Paris Hilton appeared to enjoy the casual surfing lesson she received from Sydney surfer and Bra Boy Koby Abberton at Malibu Beach in California.

Simple Life 5 Ratings Sink Further

A new report indicates that Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie’s TV Show has lost many viewers, and this result is being blamed on her jail-coverage which has dominated the news this summer.

E! execs at first thought the jail coverage would boost the ratings, but instead it actually hurt the show.

Nevertheless, the report points out that E! is very much looking foward to a sixth season of the show, because even with lack of promotions and ratings down, it is still performing well and is one of their most successful shows (if not most); lucky for E!.

In the past, I’ve pointed out the downsides of latest Simple Life season. I won’t go through all of that again, but let’s just hope that season six will be better than season five.

On a side note, the eighth episode of Simple Life 5 didn’t air this evening. However, it will air next Sunday.

There are three more episodes left:

    Babes in the Woods (07/22/2007)
    Almost Fame-Less (07/29/2007)
    Hollywood Ending (08/05/2007)

Sheriff: Hilton Jail Investigation Is A Waste Of Time And Money

Los Angeles County Sheriff LEE BACA has fired back at calls for an investigation into the alleged special treatment of PARIS HILTON – because it’s a waste of money. The chief cop hit the headlines last month (Jun07) when he allowed the socialite to walk free from jail, just days into her sentence, because he feared for her mental health. Baca’s decision was overruled by court authorities, who insisted Hilton had to return to prison to complete her jailterm. And now the sheriff is in the news again after officials at the Association for Los Angeles Deputy Sheriffs insisted allegations that Hilton was afforded special treatment during her jail spell at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood were investigated. Baca reveals he is obliged to co-operate, but he’s convinced such an investigation is a huge waste of time and money. He says, “It’s wasting tax payers’ dollars on something really trivial.”

And the sheriff insists he can clear up one allegation immediately – he confirms Hilton was given a brand new prison uniform, while her fellow inmates had to wear second-hand attire. He explains, “I was told that Miss Hilton is a size three and we don’t have size threes in the jail, so there had to be some accommodation for her, otherwise she wouldn’t be able to wear what we have.”

The mass media including the Associated Press HAS NOT reported Baca’s comments. I got this from, which is not a reliable source, but I don’t understand why would make up an article which defends Paris, so I’m assuming that the media has ignored Baca.

I’ve reached to a conclusion that this investigation is based on lies. Maybe not lies, but misunderstandings since she was segregated. It’s probably brought by high profil Paris Hilton haters and egalitarians who just want to look for problems where there are none.

How The Special Treatment Investigation Is Tricky

The Associated Press and media finally spread triumphantly this morning the news that Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department opened an investigation Thursday into allegations Paris Hilton received special treatment during her jail time.

However, let me explain to you what this is all about. This is only a predication and based on assumptions.

    Internal Inquiry

    – will examine whether the hotel heiress was given free access to a cordless phone, instead of being forced to wait in line to use a pay phone at certain hours.

    – will investigate claims Hilton received a new jail uniform, instead of the recycled ones given to many prisoners and her mail was delivered by a captain instead of trusties.

Now in a sense, most fans and decent people already understand that she was not suppose to be in jail, not to mention for 45 (excuse me, 23) days. Just because the media doesn’t talk about it, it doesn’t mean we have to ignore it.

What I’m assuming is that these special treatments were given to her because she is a celebrity. And not just any celebrity. She’s one of world’s most popular celebrities.

Of course, I can understand why she didn’t wait in line to use a pay phone. She was isolated from the rest of the population. But I could be wrong; this is just an assumption.

The claim that she received a new jail uniform instead of recycled ones was probably also because she is high profile inmate, but I don’t really understand why this happened.

And I also don’t understand the mail delivery claims.

All of this just to say that she might have received special treatment because of who she is. But, and this is a huge BUT, the media will not repeat this statement of mine. Most of them are egalitarians who can’t understand that she is not just anybody and must receive special attention.

I don’t know about you, but my view of matter is “who cares.” She didn’t belong in jail in the first place for the crime she supposedly committed, and if she did receive special treatment, she deserved it! Harsh, but that’s how I think.

Pat Boone Prays For Paris Hilton

Veteran crooner Pat Boone is praying for Paris Hilton to join Hollywood’s born-again Christians after the socialite confessed she spent her recent jail time reading The Bible. The Love Letters In The Sand singer, who found religion early in his career and turned his back on the temptations of fame, believes Hilton’s ‘conversion’ could help save many Hollywood party people.

He says, “Paris said she is on a spiritual search right now that she’s out of jail, and I thought, ‘Great.'” Now the aging heartthrob is hoping troubled stars like Nicole Richie, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan follow Hilton’s example.

He adds, “My hope is that all these women find something real and valid. They need to pay attention to their core and value the inner parts of who they really are.”
