Paris Hilton tells British GQ she’s raking in the cash, not interested in sex

Paris Hilton says she is sick of boyfriends and is celibate.

The 25-year-old who gained international fame when a former boyfriend posted a videotape of the couple having sex on the Internet denied leading a promiscuous lifestyle in an interview with the British edition of GQ magazine.

“I’m not having sex for a year. … I’ll kiss, but nothing else,” says Hilton, who told the magazine she has had sex with only two men during her lifetime.

Of the videotape with Rick Solomon that became one of the most searched-for items on the Internet in 2003, she said: “I never received a dime from it. It’s just dirty money and he should give it all to some charity for the sexually abused or something.”

The Hilton Hotels heir and uber-socialite told the magazine she is “very shy” and relates to the late Princess Diana, who was hounded by photographers.

“I’ve been in cars trying to get away from speeding paparazzi before and it’s horrible, so I can relate to Diana and the problems she had,” Hilton is quoted as saying.

During the interview, Hilton also displayed some political illiteracy.

When asked about British Prime Minister Tony Blair, her response was: “Who? … Oh, yeah, he’s like your president. I don’t know what he looks like.”

Hilton also told the magazine she collects $500,000 in fees just to show up at parties and other events from Las Vegas to Tokyo. Her best-paying gig, she said, was a recent Austrian appearance.

“I had to say `hi’ and tell them why I loved Austria so much,” she is quoted as saying.

And why does she like Austria? “Because they pay me $1 million to wave at crowds!”

Ex-friends to live another ‘Simple Life’

Fans of The Simple Life will be seeing more of ex-friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.

E! Entertainment Television will air a fifth season of the reality-style series, which shows the tabloid-ready celebutantes thrown into everyday situations with real people, the network announced Tuesday.

The show moved to E! after Fox declined to air a fourth season. A new format allows the feuding friends to have nothing to do with each other.

The Simple Life — ‘Til Death Do Us Part, which airs Sundays (10 p.m. ET), has Hilton and Richie — in separate scenes, of course — playing a “wife” and running a household.

In one episode, Hilton characterized the two as “complete opposites.”

“I’m the nice one, she’s the evil one,” she said.

Paris Hilton says she enjoys being single

Paris Hilton says she’s enjoying The Single Life. Hilton, who stars in E! Entertainment Television’s The Simple Life opposite ex-friend Nicole Richie, told Live With Regis and Kelly on Tuesday that she’s “single for the first time” in her life.

“I always have a boyfriend all the time, so I’ve never really got to know me and, like, have time for myself because I spend all my energy on the boyfriend,” the 25-year-old hotel heiress-actress said.

Hilton, who ended her engagement to Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis last year, recently broke up with Stavros Niarchos, another Greek shipping heir.

What has she learned by not having a man on her arm?

“I’m a very strong woman. I don’t need a man. I can be on my own,” she said.

As for her rivalry with Richie — the two have feuded publicly in the past year — Hilton said she hopes they’ll patch things up.

“I’ve known her 20 years,” Hilton said. “I look at baby pictures. It makes me sad that she’s, you know — we’re going through something right now and we’ll make up one day.”

The Simple Life — ’til Death Do Us Part airs Sunday nights (10 p.m. ET). The reality show moved to E! after Fox declined to air a fourth season. A new format allows the feuding friends to have nothing to do with each other.

    Paris Hilton involved in fender-bender

Paris Hilton had a fender-bender accident when her Range Rover backed into a car in a parking garage after a shopping trip, her publicist said Friday.

Hilton backed into a parked Honda Civic on Thursday. A videotape on the TMZ.com Web site showed Hilton getting into the car, saying goodbye to someone and backing up. The sound of a crash followed.

The video showed scrapes on the bumpers of both vehicles.

The Range Rover stopped briefly then continued on toward the exit of the parking structure.

TMZ.com indicated Hilton failed to leave contact information for the Honda’s owner and thus may have violated laws against hit-and-run. Her publicist denied that.

“Did she commit a crime? No,” Elliot Mintz said.

“She was swarmed by paparazzi,” he said. “The intensity of the lights, flashbulbs, momentarily disoriented her. She backed up, there was a minor fender-bender. No injuries. She then told me she notified one of the parking people at the facility how to contact her and asked the person to please pass that along” to the owner of the struck car.

“She did the correct thing and she would not leave the scene of a crime,” he said.

    Mintz said Hilton is insured.

“Paris is a very responsible and a very good driver. … She takes her driving seriously,” Mintz said. “This was unfortunate … it will be handled appropriately.”

Feuding ex-pals Paris and Nicole reunite in ‘The Simple Life’

Those hoping that the new season of “The Simple Life” will supply the answer to what’s really behind the famous Paris Hilton — Nicole Richie feud are going to be disappointed — but the former friends do toss a few dishy darts at one another.

The reality-style series, which shows how inept the two celebutantes can be in everyday situations, returns Sunday, 10 p.m. EDT on E!

Hilton characterizes the two as “complete opposites.”

“I’m the nice one, she’s the evil one,” the baby-voiced blonde says. “Some people change when they think they’re a star or something and some people stay the same. I’ve always been the same and she’s definitely not.”

“Nothing happened,” says a dismissive Richie. “You’ve never lost touch with anyone in your life?”

Paris Hilton plans reggae, hip hop album

Paris Hilton says her upcoming album will be a mix of reggae, pop and hip-hop, with the first single being a reggae song called Stars Are Blind.

Hilton will also do a remake of the Rod Stewart song Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?, she was quoted as saying in the June issue of Hong Kong magazine Prestige.

“The whole album has so much different music on it. I like all music. It’s not like I only like pop or only rock. I want to have something for everybody,” Hilton said.

Hilton said she wrote the lyrics to seven of her songs. The article didn’t say how many songs are on the album.

She said she had to overcome shyness to become a singer.

“I have always had a voice and always known I could sing, but I was too shy to let it come out. I think that is the hardest thing you can do, to sing in front of people. When I finally let go and did it, I realized it is what I am most talented at and what I love to do the most,” Hilton said.

Prestige reported the single, Stars Are Blind, will be released this month by Warner Records and her own label Heiress Records, followed by a full album later this year.

Paris Hilton’s Mother’s Day gifts stolen

Paris Hilton’s mother can only imagine what her celebrity daughter got her for Mother’s Day. That’s because thieves stole the gifts before Kathy Hilton received them.

A gift bag containing nearly $10,000 worth of Christian Dior shoes, sunglasses, handbags and perfume was taken from outside the Hilton home, spokesman Elliot Mintz said Monday.

The younger Hilton “spent three or four hours shopping to put together this wonderful collection of things for her mom,” Mintz said.

A delivery person set the package down outside the home’s gate to ring the intercom when a passenger in a passing car snatched the gifts.

“A fellow just whizzed by and grabbed the package,” Mintz said.

The Hilton family celebrated Mother’s Day by going out to dinner, he said.
