Nick Carter doesn’t regret ‘Paris’ tattoo

Paris Hilton left a permanent impression on ex-boyfriend Nick Carter — literally. When the couple got tattoos together three weeks before their July 22 breakup, Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, 24, got “Paris” tattooed on his wrist, People magazine reports.

Carter wouldn’t say what Hilton had tattooed, but the pop star says he’s harboring no regrets about the untimely ink: “No (I don’t regret it) because I love her. She’ll have a place in my heart, always.”

Hilton, 23, is speaking about the breakup as well. The hotel heiress-reality TV star told Us Weekly she decided to end it while having her makeup done at a photo shoot — but only after getting her psychic’s opinion.

“She thought I should be alone, and I agreed with her,” Hilton said.

About rumors of her infidelity, Hilton flatly denies them: “I’m a faithful girlfriend. I never cheat.”

Carter sounds less certain. “Our relationship was based on distrust. She didn’t trust me. I didn’t trust her.”

Paris Hilton and Nick Carter break up

The party’s over for Paris Hilton and her Backstreet Boys beau Nick Carter. The couple are no longer together, Hilton’s publicist told The Associated Press Friday.

The 23-year-old Hilton hotel heiress/reality TV star, and Carter, of the Backstreet Boys, had dated for seven months.

It was Hilton who ended the romantic relationship, said her publicist, Gina Hoffman.

“She’s concentrating on her work,” Hoffman told the AP.

Carter, 24, told People magazine Friday that he feels good, despite the break up.

“This is the time of my life,” he said.

“I’m back in the studio ready to go on tour with the guys.”

He added: “I want to be free to date other people and I got tired of all the rumors” of trouble in their relationship.

A new Backstreet Boys album is expected to be released later this year.

Hilton will begin shooting in August for her first starring film role in “Pledge This,” about a college sorority. She’s starred for two seasons on Fox’s “The Simple Life” with her friend Nicole Richie

Paris Hilton to Appear on Letterman

Paris Hilton will make her long-awaited first appearance on the “Late Show” with David Letterman on Monday, CBS announced.Hilton was to have been a guest on the late-night show on November 26, but scrapped all planned media appearances promoting her Fox series, “The Simple Life.”

At the time, Hilton’s spokesman said no slight to Letterman was intended. He added that she wanted to keep a lower profile because of the attention she’d received from her ubiquitous Internet sex video.

The hotel heiress had said she was “embarrassed and humiliated” that a homemade sex video she shot several years earlier with then-boyfriend Rick Salomon had been making the rounds online.

Hilton and her friend Nicole Richie, daughter of Lionel Richie, star in “The Simple Life 2: Road Trip,” which premieres June 16 on Fox television. It’s the sequel to their hit show that chronicled their stay with the Leding family in rural Altus, Arkansas.

Paris Hilton’s video co-star drops suit

Paris Hilton’s former boyfriend, who appeared with her in a sex video that went public, has dropped his $10 million slander lawsuit against the heiress and her parents.

In court papers filed Tuesday, attorneys for Richard Salomon asked to dismiss claims against the Hiltons. No reason was given for the request. Salomon’s attorney, Martin Singer, did not immediately return a call for comment made Friday after business hours.

The heiress to the Hilton hotel fortune made a homemade video with Salomon three years ago. Snippets were sent to various media outlets and made the rounds on the Internet.

Salomon filed suit last November, alleging Hilton was an “active participant” in making the video, but she and her family have waged a “cold, calculated and malicious campaign to portray Salomon as a rapist” to protect her image.

Singer has said a friend of his client stole the tape.

The suit will continue against Hilton publicist Siri Garber, whom Salomon claimed in court papers “orchestrated” a campaign against him.

The videotape of Salomon having sex with Paris Hilton surfaced last year just before the launch of her reality television series, “The Simple Life.”

Paris Hilton thrown from horse, injured in taping ‘Simple Life 2’

Paris Hilton was hospitalized Friday after a horse she was riding threw her off and kicked her in the stomach during the taping of “The Simple Life 2,” a reality show featuring the hotel heiress and a friend on a 30-day cross-country trip.

Hilton, 23, was first treated at the scene in rural Florida north of Tampa, then taken to a hospital, said Chris Alexander, publicist for 20th Century Fox in Los Angeles.

The kick to the stomach left her bruised, but she was not seriously injured, said St. Joseph’s Hospital spokeswoman Lisa Patterson. Hilton was released about three hours after she was brought in and was never admitted to the hospital, she said.

Hilton was able to walk around immediately after the accident, Alexander said.

Camera crews were taping the socialite-turned-TV star when she was thrown, Alexander said.

The sequel to “The Simple Life” features Hilton and Nicole Richie on a monthlong cross-country trip with no money, credit cards, cell phones or boyfriends. The show is set to hit Fox in June.

Hilton, the leggy blonde hotel heiress, and Richie, daughter of singer Lionel Richie, helped make the first season of “The Simple Life” a huge success for Fox.

The young women appeared to break free from their sheltered upbringings, working odd jobs milking cows and hawking burgers at a fast-food restaurant while living with a family in ultra-rural Altus, Ark., population 817.
