yeah, i definitely want to hear the new music. it may be a little late for her to break out & be a huge music star, but i’ll still love her sound so i hope the “numbers” and ROI don’t prevent her from releasing the new album…

i still think the first one really rocks and is one of my favorite in it’s genre. unlike a lot of stars who may have only 1-3 really great songs on an album, I can honestly say I loved every song on her first album and thought they were all worthy of a singles release, so yeah, i’m definitely a paris music fan!

I’ve been waiting for some new music for years.. I’m getting so desperate!! At least I can rest easy knowing I’m getting a movie, soundtrack, sophomore album, reality TV show, and a new fragrance by the end of 2008.

but yes. Her first album was an example of what an extremly smart artist does, releases an album she would enjoy and she knows her fans would enjoy. She didnt release this album to become a ground breaking artist, she released this album to be fun be able to dance to and she did that, very well.
I actually wasnt all that fond of Paris until I got into her music. I watched the Simple Life because it was easy viewing and funny, I didnt actually think all that much of her. When I got her album I really got into it so I start reading about Paris and such and released what an amazing person she is.
Her music is the reason why I became such a huge fan and I honestly think with enough effort she can release a second album that is even better.

Hm, I do wish she released I Want You as a single though, I think that would have done so well.

Scot, your post makes me happy. I always loved Paris, before her music I was like just Oh Paris! Like I’ve never naturally hated Paris like everyone else, I just used to be like oh she’s pretty and her cologne smells nice.

Her music made me fall in love with her too 🙂

EVERYONE: when her second album comes out make sure to buy at least 1 copy within the first week of sales. If her numbers are good then it will give her record company the push to put out more singles, tours, live performances, music videos, meet and greets, and even another album. If you like Paris, support her and buy her music, NOT download it.

I know news has been slow a bit, but you can also blame it on me. I’ve been very busy this summer. However, I’m going to see Repo! in LESS THAN ONE WEEK!

Also, my friend might not come with me, so if any of you plan to come here, let me know (preferably someone I know), but I still don’t know for sure.

I haven’t forgotten about the site (never will). We just need to be a patient, especially since it’s summer right now. Just enjoy yourself out there! 🙂

PS: In my opinion, it’s OK to download a music album to see if it’s really good. ALL of the songs in an album MUST be good. That’s exactly what Paris offered. If you like the album, then, you go and buy it so you can support the artist. That’s how I think. It’s important to have and feel a connection with the artist.

My first real interest in Paris was through The Simple Life. I had heard of her before then but wasn’t really paying much attention to her other work when she started modeling, etc. But when I saw SL, I just thought it was a really funny, light-hearted show that never took it self too seriously and was just silly innocent fun. I was impressed they could ad-lib so much and create their own dialogue and situations. Actually, if anyone looked bad, I thought it was the farm family, especially the dad. He was just so narrow-minded that he never could try and understand the girls or get to know them, rather he was all about his ego and controlling them.

I never got the religious right’s backlash against it. (but i don’t get most of their dangerous thinking, either) It never occurred to me that anyone would actually believe a TV show was real just because it was labled “reality TV” or believe the girsl were spoiled, mean or whatever. I guess it’s just their version of the Jezebele syndrome, narrow-mindedness and all around sexual repression. Then of course, Ric Salomon happened and his tape. the rest is history, then it gave everyone permission to hate Paris.

All that junk just made me begin to then appreciate Paris more as a person because I saw how she stood up to it. She has always shown a lot of guts, grace and charachter. The same media who had fawned over her as she was becoming popular and there was a mystic about her all of a sudden jumped on the band wagon to begin attacking her.

I actually didn’t hear her first album for awhile after it was released but I loved it right away. There are few albums where I really like every song and Paris’ is one of them.

So yeah along with Repo, her album is something I’m really looking forward to enjoying. and yes, i’ll buy it!

Its really nice to see the comments and we’re all just being positive and happy. Discussing the reason why we come to this site, because we adore Paris and want to support her as much as we can.

i agree with u guyz about her music. her first album was really good! people always say “omg paris is so fake. shes dumb and cant sing” but to me, she is one off the most REAL celebrities cuz she put her album for fun, NOT 4 money or fame. she already had plenty of both. i think all the songs are authentic and very PARIS and it shows that she really loves music and she is not trying to hide anything about her personality. she is just being herself in every song and she really wanted to do an album for herself and for her fans.
