Paris Hilton Not Doing So Well…

A law enforcement source connected with the Lynwood Jail tells TMZ, “To describe Paris as emotionally upset would be an understatement.”

TMZ has confirmed she’s in the medical wing at the jail and is being “evaluated.” We’re told Sheriff’s officials believed she was stable enough, and that’s why she was transferred. But our source is doubtful and says she “will not be able to handle” the cell she was in before. We’re told the root of the problem — severe panic attacks.

That source and someone connected with Paris’ family tells TMZ they are convinced she’ll be back at Twin Towers in a few days because she will deteriorate again.

This is so wrong, so sad.

I’ve had a history of anxiety attacks myself. At the height of it, I went days on end without sleep. The most important thing for me was wide open space. Sometimes I couldn’t stand being in my studio apartment or being in a car. You feel trapped & suffocating wherever you are. You want to move & run to find air, space. To have these attacks in a prison cell must be crushing.

Luckily I learned how to control attacks, & if they ever come back again I’m confident I can handle them. It’s all by breath control. Not one damn shrink or therapist, & I saw many, ever told me how to deal with them.

I learned by holding my breath at the onset, & even before they start, gave me control back & sped up recovery. I learned this from watching a movie on the old WE: Women’s Entertainment channel. The Man Who Loved Women. Burt Reynold’s character is having an attack & calls his shrink in the middle of the night, Marianna, a character played by Julie Andrews. She told him what to do. My next attack was not for a few months after that but somehow I remembered what she said & the attack stopped.

She was the last shrink I’ve ever seen. Mary Poppins saved my damn life. Talk about a true Hollywood happy ending. I better tell Paris, write away.

PS One more thing about a panic attack: you feel like you’re may be going to die & you damn want to, just so the damn crazy ride will stop.
