Paris Hilton set to focus on music career?

Seems like it! “I’d love to come and tour Australia some time next year,” Paris Hilton said recently to Insider.

A new article reports that Paris wants to focus on her music career after her break up with ex-boyfriend Benji.

The new album, which was supposed to come out last November, will be out next year. The first single was supposedly “My BFF,” according to the article. The new album will feature the song “Paris For President,” but I personally think she should completely scrap this song. What do you think? Let’s just consider it as part of her election campaign.

She wants the second album to be a tribute to her musical heroine Kylie Minogue: “I was really inspired by Kylie Minogue. I love her – I just love that European dance vibe.”

As some of you already know, Paris will be in Australia to celebrate the New Year’s Eve: “I’m planning on spending a few days in Sydney and possibly Melbourne, but you never know, I might stay longer.”

The article remarks: “Hilton may give fans a taste of her new sound when she celebrates the new year in Sydney.”

Yesyesyesyesyess! The best thing is I’m moving over to Melbourne sometime early next year.

I actually think neither My BFF and Paris for President should appear on the album. They’re both part of different projects. Maybe released as b-sides but nothing more then that.

Paris For President may not be a great song but I don’t think it’s any worse than those songs we heard snippets of, that are also supposedly on the album (and it’s probably more memorable). Despite some good messages, the song is a bit wince making, but then the new album obviously isn’t for me anyway. Paris seems to be focusing on a more specific pop audience than the wider appeal of the first album.

I’m surprised that Mike Green produced the whole entire album. It’s so rare to find albums all produced by one producers these days. I hope Paris doesn’t release with herself like a Indie album, that would be bad.

I’m hoping Jive/Zomba picks her up, the same label as Britney Spears. I also think Paris for President should be axed from the album.

My guess is that Paris’s focus is BUSINESS, rather than a career in any particular genre.
She has actually stated so repeatedly.
