Paris Hilton to sing a new single from her upcoming album in Dublin?

Negotiations are under way to bring socialite Paris Hilton to the capital for a one-off performance — but only if the price is right.

She’s asking for a basic fee of between €15,000 to €20,000 to perform a track from her new album.

Orla Brennan, of Real8PR, has confirmed that she was approached by Paris’s British agent to secure a one-off performance date for the sexy star.

She revealed how the some-time-singer is eager to debut material from her untitled second album in the city in September.

“We’re looking at the possibility of her coming over, but we’re still in negotiations,” she said.

“She’s very keen to come over here, so we’re looking at bringing her to perform in Krystle for one or possibly two dates.”

I would die to see Paris perform. I truly think Paris does have a singing voice without all the editing that everyone thinks they do to her voice. I have seen videos on youtube of her singing “Bette Davis Eyes” and she doesnt sound all that bad.

while I’d love for this to be true, I think we all would… I don’t believe it. If Paris were to do a performance (which I’ve kind of lost hope of her doing) I’d imagine she would do it somewhere incredibly safe to build up her confidence, ones that come to mind include ellen or even David letterman, both audiences seem to respond well to her and she’s friendly with the hosts. I think Paris might be too scared of being booed at while singing infront of random people.

But I may be completely wrong, which I hope I am. I want Paris to get confidence with her singing and really do great. Just tired of having to wait for it and that it keeps getting pushed back! I’d imagine its been pushed back yet again because a few of the newer songs being about doug. I hope she has kept a few of the benji produced tracks because he is great with that sound (eg hilary duff beat of my heart, just a great synth pop tune produced by the madden brothers) just gotta keep waiting I guess :/

Paris seems to have a lot of confidence, she is used to being on stage and in public.
If the news story is true it might be fun for her to promote the new album.

Well, you know, I’m sure it’s not easy for her. We don’t realize this, but if something goes wrong, it could hurt her personally. Though, she should’ve sang on stage long time ago. It’s a lot of work too, so she’ll have to truly focus 100% on her music career.

It doesn’t have to be something “hot” or “sexy”. It could just be a normal fun performance on David or Ellen. I don’t know, but I do understand why she doesn’t like to perform in front of a public!

No need to push her or anything. It’s up to her.
