Paris Hilton turns down offers and spends time with family

Reported by E! Online

Highly photographed heiress Paris Hilton isn’t ready for any close-ups right now—she’s laying low at her home in L.A. since her arrest in Vegas last Friday.

“She’s devastated,” a source close to Paris tells me about the incident.

So far, the only people she’s been spending time with since her return are boyfriend Cy Waits and her family.

“We’re all hoping people will truly take seriously that she’s innocent until proven guilty,” another source tells E! News.

Despite reports that the heiress has been blackballed from Vegas after her arrest, a source says her manager is fielding requests for her to host Labor Day parties this weekend for more than $100,000.

“They’re trying to capitalize on press from the situation, but she’s turning them all down and staying at home with Cy, her family and her pets,” the source tells us.

And Paris isn’t assuming she’ll get off on probation for the felony charge if indicted, given her previous 23-day stint in jail when an L.A. judge seemed intent on making an example of her.

“She’s taking this very seriously,” the source says.

I’m hoping for the best for you and showing my support all the way, Paris!

I’m surprised that Cy Waits is still in the picture. I really don’t think Paris would be in this mess if it wasn’t for him. Of course I could be wrong and only Paris and those most close to her really know the truth about what kind of guy he is. But if he is any kind of bad influence on her and is getting her back into things best left in the past or any kind of bad scene/untrustworthy people, I hope Paris sees it and moves on before he can get her in more trouble. He’s not exactly breaking the stereotype of what you might expect from a nightclub boss and I don’t think that’s good for Paris. I hope she knows best and makes the right decisions for her longterm success, safety and happiness.

I was reading through comments on this site and it’s not too nice to see people who are frequent posters here and are geniune fans getting attacked for having a different opinion. I’m still unsure as to what I believe purely because we don’t know all the details. There are so many false articles coming out from all directions. You guys who are so set on saying Paris is innocent have just as many facts as the people who think she might be guilty – none of us know for sure. As Admin keeps saying, Paris is innocent until proven guilty, that is true BUT do not attack others just because they’re doubtful of her innocence. Paris isn’t an angel, she likes her drink and her weed, so why wouldn’t she have a little coke? We do not know.

What I am against is the overly harsh, negative treatment that Paris is recieving. There are people hoping she gets 4 years jail purely because they don’t like her, that’s cruel and disgusting. We need perspective in this situation, it’s horrible for Paris and as fans all we can do is let her know we support her and are keeping our fingers crossed for the best. We do NOT know what was going on in that car, so arguing with each other as to whether she is innocent or not is pointless. Just send out some modest hope, that’s all we can do.

Although I am inclined to believe Paris, I have never said that it is beyond possibility that she wouldn’t do coke. I don’t care. I don’t want to see her life ruined because some “bold gendarme” picked her at random and can’t be bothered chasing real criminals. What Paris should be getting from fans is love and support not “lol”s about her situation. We may all have the same details to go on, but those who support Paris know that we don’t know everything and there may still be more to be revealed. Those who talk against her here are the ones who think they’re the ultimate authorities and mistake opinion or guesses for fact. The fact that Paris rarely gets treated entirely fairly by the US “justice” system and that so many people are once again baying for her blood is all the reason why all fans should be sending messages of love and support. If anyone who posts here actually thinks she deserves this situation or that the sentence that she’s being threated with seems fair, then I have no respect for them. I don’t want Paris’s life to be ruined for four years just to make her haters, those who stand to make a name for themselves and some so called “fans” happy. I’m just glad that Paris is getting plenty of messages of love and support from those who care about her on her official community and that Paris actually sees some of them.

Just do you know, I was lol’ing at the fact that Michael Boychuck said he’d never seen her do drugs.

The whole world has seen her do drugs. Google image search: ‘Paris Hilton Drugs’ & marvel.

I wasn’t laughing at Paris. Get your facts straight in future.
