Paris Hilton’s Dubai show increases Lions Gate’s international television revenue

Earlier today, it was reported that Paris Hilton’s Dubai BFF show, which recently aired all over the world on the MTV network, was partly responsible for the increase in Lions Gate’s international television revenue. The original US series also helped improve the company’s earnings.

According to Lionsgate Television, there was a 61 percent increase in revenue with a total of $12.6 million in the first quarter. They also attributed this growth to another internationally aired TV show “Mad Men.”

Lionsgate is responsible for the production of Paris Hilton’s BFF shows.

Epic! “BFF” was so much more successful in every way than “World”. She should’ve stuck with it, IMO.

I do think she should have done a few more series of it (one in Europe, one in Asia, and one in Australia) but I don’t think it would have made sense for her to still be doing it now at 30. Let’s wait until World has aired, well, around the world, and is released on DVD. Then we’ll know how successful it is overall.
