“Paris, Not France” is supported by Paris Hilton

Forget about what I reported! My report was based on assumptions made by journalists. Paris Hilton fully intends to support her documentary “Paris, Not France”, and apparently, as many of you already know, she cancelled all of the screenings, except one, in order to create some “buzz” about it.

We all know that Page Six is trash, but in a recent article, they quoted Paris’ manager and here’s what he said: “We wanted to create more buzz – create some hype… We felt the impact would be more extreme if we had one screening.” The rule is: if they reveal the source, then the quote is not made-up. In this case, they used her manager’s name, so it’s not fake.

So Paris’ team wants to create some buzz and hype by reducing it to one screening. The problem is that the documentary hasn’t received any publicity. Associated Press first mentioned it in one of their articles, but we had to research to know more about it. “Paris, Not France” is still new and a mystery to me. But it really seems that the documentary means a lot to Paris. She’s planning to attend the screening.

Now this should be a VERY interesting documentary. No doubt, a must-see! Maybe it’s not gaining enough publicity, but I really can’t wait to see it one day! More exciting than the reality show lol.

Anyway, this is what the festival programmer replied to Page Six: “I wish we could do more, but it’s better than not showing it at all. She is a partner with the documentary and will be attending Tuesday’s screening in support of it.”

The documentary is 68 minutes long, by the way.

Also, new comments by Paris regarding her music: “The songs are just being mixed right now and should be done soon. I’ve got a recording studio at my house in Los Angeles and so we’ve been working there every night. It’s been fun. Our songs are just happy and fun dance music. It reflects what Benji and I are like together – happy and fun.”

Finally, I usually don’t report about stupid things, but I just found this so funny and dumb that I wanted to report it.

The hypocritical politicians once again used Paris in one of their ads. A Republican politician Brian Bilbray was attacked in this ad by Democratic rival, Nick Leibham.

The announcer in the video says: “What do Paris Hilton and Brian Bilbray have in common? Well, they both do nothing.” Wow! Apparently, Paris Hilton does NOTHING! And it’s being shown on TV. What a load of crap! For one thing, Paris does help the economy because she is a brand and sells products. So indirectly, she’s creating jobs! lol

Oh yay! I hope this comes out on DVD or something, it seems so interesting I would really like to see it! and DOUBLE yay to the music! That means all her songs are done and the producers are just putting the vocals and beats together (remastering everything) and they should be done very soon! WHERE IS THE FIRST SINGLE PAYPAY!

Also, LMAO Paris does help our economy. Every brand she puts out gives countless jobs, Paris’ should have her own stocks.

I agree that that article (despite it’s usually unreliable source) is probably true or much closer to the truth than the previous.

Lies can still be made up with named people though. Remember the quotes supposedly from Paris herself about drunk elephants and cryogenics (or the “blonde icon/Marilyn Monroe” etc quote that Paris apparently didn’t say but was attributed to her in a newspaper interview)?

I agree that the documentary sounds a lot more exciting and worthwhile (and hopefully likely to spread a positive image of Paris) than the new reality show. A behind the scenes show about Paris and her various projects, passions and promotions might have been a better direction (as that sometimes started to creep into later episodes of The Simple Life anyway, with the album/music video etc).

How is Paris doing nothing? She’s got all of her products, she’s promoting the new movie she’s in, her reality TV show and possibly a new CD on the way.

Hmm. A random off-topic thing,
Lady GaGa’s album reminds me so much of Paris’ for some reason.

OMG SCOT! I LOVE LADY GAGA’S NEW ALBUM!
I hope Paris’ has a couple tracks like Boys Boys Boys, Money Honey, Love Game, Paparazzi, Just Dance, and Beautiful Dirty Rich!

Lady Gaga is dance but Paris is aiming more towards the feel good dance music. I really think her love relationship with Benji inspired her to make a lot of feel good music.

ALSO: doesn’t the Repo! soundtrack come out the same day as Paris BFF. Does anyone have any news update on Repo?

Terrance Zdunich answered questions of some of the board members and talked about Paris a bit (another user posted it on the boards) and he addressed why Come Up & Try My New Parts was cut from the film.

Oh, and the soundtrack coming out Sept. 30 is just the main numbers (plus two cut tracks) and will be an online-only release. Then in January, to tie in with the DVD release, they’ll release the full soundtrack with all the songs into stores.

I think they will release New Parts as a single. It sure seems that way to me.
