Paris Hilton reveals details about The World According to Paris at the TCA press tour

The Simple Life

“When I did ‘The Simple Life,’ I was playing a character that I created and I had no idea it would last so many seasons.”

“So I had to continue doing that character, so I think people assume that’s really how I am. But when they see this new show, they’re going to see the real me.”

“I had such a great time doing ‘The Simple Life’ so it’s so much fun to still be doing it with “The World According to Paris. It’s a show like I’ve never done before. I’m really letting cameras into my real life, and it’s just an all-access pass into what goes on.”

Cy Waits

“He’s very shy, so this is all very new to him, but he loves me so much and supports me.”

The World According to Paris

“‘The World According to Paris' is all about my life, all about my friends and everything crazy that happens, so I'm very excited and I cannot wait.”

Crazy Moments

“There are so many crazy things on the show, but one of the craziest is jumping out of a plane and skydiving.”

“I’m fearless, and I live life to the fullest and feel like you only live once so you should make the most of it. Jumping out of a plane is the most incredible feeling in the world.”

Shooting the show

“We’ve been shooting since October-November, and it’s whole access into my life.”

“I’m shooting from the moment I wake up until I go to bed at night.”

“We’re not even halfway done shooting.”

Private conversations and arguments

“[I] can’t believe the world is going to see [them].”

Misconceptions

“There are so many misconceptions about me, rumours and lies that I read, I’m like, ‘Who is this person they’re talking about?’ That’s just part of being in the media world. But on the show you’re going to see that’s not who I really am.”

“I’m an amazing businesswoman, that’s something I’m really proud of. I’ve built an empire. I have 17 different licencees in my brand. I have a big heart. And I’m actually very smart.”

30th birthday

“Big birthday, yeah, — I’m freaking out.”

“I can’t believe I’m going to be 30. It’s very strange. I feel like I’m an adult now.”

“Thirty is the new 20, they’re saying. At least I look like I’m 20.”

Partying

“Now when I go to parties it’s more for business. It’s not all about just going to a party for no reason. I’m there for a reason.”
