One of the reasons why I insist that Paris Hilton's debut album, "Paris," is really good and that it is very unique compared to what other artists come up with is because it's the truth, at least, for me. When Paris' album released on the internet for free listen, an incredible wave of hatred was launched against Paris and her album. It is really disgusting to see so many haters hating her music just because she's singing in it. Sure, they say it's their opinion and that not everyone is going to like her music, but in really, everyone knows they use that excuse just to cover their dishonest opinion.
It really is pure hatred and no one can deny it. It angers them so much because she actually came up with an excellent album. That's the truth. In their reviews, they don't comment about her music, but instead, they talk about her. They wonder to themselves why she's trying to sell a music album if she's already rich. They tell us that we shouldn't buy it because it only makes her richer. So you see, it has nothing to do with honesty or truth. It's all about beauty, money and fame for them. This is the hateful type of comments you will read about Paris' music. I mean how can one consider that as a justified reason to hate her music and not buy it? Bill Gates is the richest man on earth, so we should all stop buying his Microsoft products?
And unfortunately, many of the neutral people are being influenced by them. Sometimes, I really feel that it's unfair to Paris because all she's trying to do is do what she likes. It doesn't matter how much energy she puts into something, it will never be good for haters which consist of a lot of people.
I don't like to talk more about these haters, but the fact is that there are too many of them, and they pollute everything in their way. You can't search about Paris without having to read full of hateful comments. I'm also including the news reports.
It really is sad that it has to be this way and that people will always be dishonest and ignorant. Or think that is it ok to download her music album off the internet and justify it by saying that she's already too rich. Is Paris some sort of free entertainer who likes to make music for free? Who's going to cover all the costs of the production? Paris' so-called "unlimited amount of money"? There's one thing to keep in mind about this album, it may not have sold millions of copies worldwide, but it certainly, most certainly, isn't because her music is bad like most artists. I personally think there's no way that the majority of the music fans didn't buy the record because it wasn't good.
I've always considered Paris' music album as the best Paris Hilton product out there and… the best music album of all times. There's no doubt in my mind. But I know that if you're a neutral person, you would simply think I'm crazy. You would think that I'm over-exaggerating, and that there is no way in hell that the album "Paris" produced by Paris Hilton is in my opinion, the best album of all times. To you, that is unimaginable, no matter what I say.
Believe me, if you aren't a hater, I can understand. I know this because you have been brainwashed by a bunch of haters who don't judge her music honestly. You don't have to think like them just because they make the majority. I am not a crazy person because I know that the music you hear on the radio today is not as good as it used to be, for some people. I also know that the songs are overproduced and that most albums these days only come with a single good song and that the rest of them are garbage.
I'm happy to say that this is not the case with Paris' debut album. Each song has its own unique touch, and they're all special. I believe that Paris is a much better artist than most artists out there who don't really put a lot of work into their album. The fact is that she made sure each single came from her and that they would be memorable and POWERFUL.
Paris, as you may think, doesn't have the best voice or singing ability. She's not as good as Madonna or Mariah Carey, but that simply does not mean that she can't produce an excellent album. You see the truth is that most songs out there are in my opinion junk. There's nothing special about them. They don't have that true artistry touch. The majority of well-known singers think that in order to be a successful artist these days, you ought to have a great voice and be able to sing flawlessly. Actually, to become popular, they always make sure that their debut single is something radio-friendly and catchy. That's how they become famous and successful. But with Paris, many people already know her and hate her because of who she is. That is because she lives in a "fantasy world" apparently. I'm sorry to say that most artists who are considered very talent just don't impress me. The singers who come up on American Idol may be able to sing very well and have a great voice, but if the song is mediocre, then it doesn't impress me. Nowadays, people are more into sound and beat.
Trust me, the haters have tried so hard to portray Paris' debut album as something mediocre. They have subverted everything about it, and acted as if all the bad qualities apply to her album. Basically, instead of blaming other artists for their crappy albums, they direct their anger to Paris' album. It's really disgusting!
The reason why I say that Paris Hilton's "Paris" album is so much better than, say, Christina Aguilera's "Back to Basics" album is not because I hate Christina or because her voice is bad, far from that, but because her songs are "cheap," (always in my opinion). The background music is just mediocre and doesn't have a tight beat. However, Christina has a very good voice and she can hit good notes with her voice on that album, but we all know that people are more inclined to prefer beats and instruments, instead of voice. And let's face it, it is the beat of the music that makes you dance.
Now, I admit, comparing "Paris" and "Back to Basics" is very tricky and not a good example because "Paris" is more of a dance album. It is intended to make you dance, have fun and enjoy while partying. When you listen to it, you shouldn't be thinking who is singing it or how it is produced. You should only judge and talk about the music you hear. If you like it, regardless if it is a black, a yellow, a rich or a pretty woman singing the songs, you should be able to say "Yes, I like this album and I want to buy it to support this artist's future projects."
The haters, just to give you an example, also tried to make us believe that this was some sort of marketing scam, but really, it isn't. This is Paris Hilton. She wouldn't dare to release something crappy. She has all the best producers behind her back. She can give you the best music out there because she has the backing of Scott Storch (Danity Kane, Jessica Simpson, Kelis, Nas, Chamillionaire, Lil' Wayne, 50 Cent, Fat Joe, R. Kelly, Ice Cube and The Game), Fernando Garibay (just think of "Stars Are Blind"), Jonathan "J.R." Rotem (The Game, Destiny's Child, Britney Spears, Snoop Dogg and Rihanna), Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald (producer of Kelly Clarkson hit single "Since U Been Gone") and Kara DioGuardi (Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Anastacia, Pink and Ashlee Simpson). All of them are extremely talented music producers who have worked with numerous well-known singers as you can see. But you know, Paris also worked hard to make this album possible. She wrote almost half of her songs, and took the time to work with Scott Scotch and to make sure that the beats of her songs are nothing out of the ordinary. The work that Paris and Scott have done is truly remarkable and exceptional. They really know what good music is. All you have to do is listen to Turn It Up, Fightin' Over Me, Turn You On and Jealousy. And indeed, Paris wrote all of these songs. Scott is her favourite producer, and so I'm sure she wanted them to be perfect and very "Paris."
But let me assure you, "Paris" is the type of album that you can listen over and over. I know people who used to listen to it almost every day for months. As I said, each song is special. The lyrics are also fun. And Paris' voice is sweet and gentile.
The thing that stands out about Paris is that she has this voice that can very easily be "manipulated." She actually has this ability to change the tone of her voice, which is apparent on this record.
Many times in the past, Scott insisted that his songs are way better than other producers' songs on "Paris." That statement in itself is actually true. I strongly do believe that a lot more work has been put in his songs and that it really pushes the limits of good music. Of course, this is because for every song he produced, he closely worked with Paris at his studio. Whereas, other producers usually just sell their beats, and the artist adds lyrics to it. But there's no need to worry about that. Some people think that "Nothing in this World" which is produced by "Dr. Luke" and Sheppard Solomon, for example, is the best song of the album. Everyone has different tastes, but there's no doubt that most people prefer Scott's songs. Finally, maybe you won't think that "Paris" is the best album of all times like me, but you will definitely love it, if you give it a chance.
I should also give you another example in regards to this album: Brooke Hogan's "Undiscovered." Although most of her songs are produced by Scott Storch and are actually quite well done, they're not as good as and as breathtaking as Paris' songs. Though, there's one outstanding song called "My Space" which is a bit similar to Paris' "Are You With It" that you should listen. That's probably the best song on her album in my view.
Furthermore, there's another problem with Brooke Hogan's debut album which is not present in Paris' album. It is overproduced! There's no doubt in my mind that Brooke believes in true music, but she just put too many songs and it kind of made the whole album "junky." But I would recommend you to give it a try.
On the other hand, Paris' album only has 11 songs, and it makes us want more. This is very good tactic used by Paris and her producers, I think. Paris' album is simply a flawless production and there's nothing like it on the market. You should really consider it. That's why I say:
Hands down to the best music album ever produced: "Paris."
