The Hottie And The Nottie To Be Released In UK

“Are You With It” singer’s new movie “the Hottie and the Nottie” will be released in the UK on March 28, 2008. I’m assuming it will be shown in a few threaters, by a movie studio known as Pathe and Regent Releasing.

A couple of new reviews are being published by UK movie critics. The first one I found is actually a sort of pro-Paris article.

It trashes the bad American reviews, but says: “the film, as you might have guessed, isn’t very good. It’s poorly written, lazily directed and only vaguely amusing.”

However, the reviewer then praises Paris Hilton: “Hilton acquits herself amiably, with a heavy hint of self-deprecation. […] Incidentally, Hilton’s turn is better than anything that Scarlett Johansson has done in her past nine movies, or Kate Hudson’s past seven, or any role from Jessica Alba or Lindsay Lohan.”

But the review isn’t 100% accurate in what it reports. For example, he quotes a phrase that was never said by Paris Hilton.

Speaking of the UK, the media is reporting that Paris may arrive in Edinburgh in early April. It’s still hard to believe that she has nothing else to do than go on tour for her boyfriend’s band, possibly for a whole month. I doubt it. Or maybe after the tour is done, then right away, she’ll start promoting Repo! for only two weeks?

Still reading? Good! In a week or so, if all goes well, I’m going to get something that only a few people in the world possess! It’s something regarding Paris Hilton’s music! I’ll let you know all about it when I receive it. Stay tuned to PHS!

Read the review.

Ah, you guys are stressing me again. Don’t get too excited! lol
It may either be something interesting, or nothing impressive. I don’t even know. But it’s definitely something you haven’t seen before!

One thing I know, you guys will be jealous… But maybe very mildly jealous lol.

And there are rumors going around that Repo’s release date might be pushed back. Not sure though, you should look into it.

it could be interesting or nothing impressive..
when i first read this post i thought it could be a bunch of demo songs.. but after you saying that i think not.
maybe something relating the upcoming reality show?
not too sure.. could be anything!

oh and Kevin, about Repo!
Its still coming out on April 25, there was just a lot more editing and effects to be added then they first predicted and they also ended up adding more.

AND another thing about Repo!, the first song has been released (well second if you include the commercial jingle… or third if you include the song from the teaser trailer)
Its at myspace.com/repoopera and its called 21st Century Cure.
yupyup!

Thanks Scot! I’m glad to know it’s still on track and I can’t wait any longer than I already have too!

The movie sounds and looks so good! I can’t wait to see Paris in it! Does anyone know what the movie is rated and when the dang soundtrack comes out?!

I wanna hear the finished version of Come Up and Try My New Parts and Choice!

Your welcome :]

Only a month and 5 days to go!
I so hope its released in Australia.
It will break my heart if its not.

I think it will be rated R, or atleast MA
and as for the soundtrack I think it will be out 2 weeks or so before the movie.

But I guess the official answers will be out in the next few weeks. I cannot wait for this, I think it will change everyones opinion about her (for the better)… well atleast until her reality show comes out (nothing against it, but haters are going to find a million and one things wrong with it).

It’s wonderful to see a critic/reviewer prepared to actually defend or commend Paris in this way (ironically one comment questions his professionalism – while all the screaming hyperbole against the movie and Paris from hater critics gets a free ride!). Not having seen the film yet, I do think this is a much fairer review than the movie itself is used to. I already know it’s not the worst movie ever made and the worst that this review says about it is that it’s average to below average, which is what some of us initially expected (and even that’s just an opinion – some people will enjoy it or appreciate it more, I might be among them when I see it). I commend the reviewer in not taking the easy path and standing up for some balance and truth in the face of constant Paris bashing.

Sorry Kevin, lol

I don’t even know what I’m going to get, but it could be something you and I haven’t seen/heard before!

Even if it’s nothing impressive, you guys will still see at least something you haven’t seen before. Then again, it’s nothing really exciting.
