I’m so incredibly tired tonight, so I’ll update the site and reply to you all tomorrow. I got to chance catch 30min of TWATP, very refreshing show! Unfortunately, I had to be at school today until late at night.

Not sure if I’ll have the episode up tomorrow, but hopefully by Friday early morning.

I’m slightly dissapointed with the first episode. I was hoping it would be more like Paris not France. However, I am hopeful that the season will get better each episode.

that is all.

That Paris Hilton entertainment logo was really amazing. I didn’t expect it but it was very nice to see!

I was watching the live stream they were doing of Paris watching it and during the commercials, Paris was asked about her album and she said she’s done a song with Afrojack (she also said another producer, but I didn’t hear properly. She mumbled a little bit but I heard DJ Afrojack). So that’s kind of cool. The songs of his I’ve heard are decent enough, they’re very much the -in- sound right now. I’d love for Paris to get back in the studio Fernando Garibay, especially considering Stars Are Blind was one of the songs that really launched his career.

I loved her new show.

It was hip, fast moving, sparkly and smart .

It does show a more mature Paris who makes decisions for herself and does not take crap from suspected phonies.
Good for her!

At the same time, it still shows the vulnerable Paris who can also be quite witty and playful.
Good combo!

It was good, surprising in parts.

I was surprised by how vulgar her language was sometimes. I’ve never heard her say things like “suck a dick” or ” this sucks balls” before.

I thought the bit where she did community service was very Simple Life-esque.

“These are the best BFFs I’ve ever had” Nicole who? My New what show?

I think she was ridiculously hard on Lexxy for her other job, especially since Paris has dated Joe Francis, parties at the Playboy Mansion a lot & is good friends with Jenna Jameson.

Drama with Cy. Seemed real & was a little shocking. Looks like there’s more to come.

Overall, I didn’t hate it. It was very Paris. I’m gonna miss BFF, though I missed Simple Life for a while before warming up to BFF. We’ll see how it goes.

My thoughts exactly, Benji. Crazy how PHS fans think alike. The community service definitely reminded me of the Simple Life. So it seems that yes, there’s a bit of acting involved. And why not? It still has to be an entertaining show.

The narrative was also certainly a bit harsh, but I guess it’s done to spice up the show.

But honestly, I won’t miss the BFF shows too much. My favourite show has always been the Simple Life. It will always be a classic show, and the best “reality” show of all times, at least for me!

I also liked TWATP, and how the premiere episode was presented. I just hope she drops the more and less vulgar language in the coming episodes. It’s not always necessary.

I thought it’d be better to comment here rather then the download post (thank you for that by the way! I was actually able to watch it!)

Hmmm… I don’t want to be a downer or anything but I have to admit, I did find it rather hard to watch. I don’t really think it helps with the misconceptions to be honest. I mean, she’s completely unfriendly to a few people, the way she behaves in a few scenes even made me say “wow…”. She doesn’t do any work or business and the only charity work she does is because she has to and even that she complains her way through it and insults the woman at the start. Now, seeing that the ratings were so low… Not even half a million. That’s brutally bad. Plus, the word on the show isn’t any better. Hmmm. The thing I disliked the most was the voice over. It wasn’t needed and the things she was saying were only making it worse. I mean, calling Brooke’s friend a bitch… I didn’t like it. Also, the drama between Paris and Cy… The way Cy shut Paris down in the car was insane, when he snapped and Paris turned into a little puppy dog. I didn’t like that.

This show isn’t at all what I expected. I’m going to keep watching (if it isn’t cancled) because I’m hoping it’ll get better.

scot,

I know what you’re trying to say, but I think you’re taking it a bit too seriously. What do you mean she doesn’t work and does charity work because she has to? She has voluntarily done charity work plenty of times, even before she had to do the community service.

Hrm yeah, I know the narrative is harsh, but then again, we haven’t seen the whole show. Anyhow, I take it as an entertaining show. I also think she needed another TV show as well as one that gives a glimpse of her life, so I guess that’s kinda where I disagree with The View ladies. But I’ll agree that she went too far with the narrative/negativity, which is probably what bothered them the most.

I just meant in that episode, she didn’t do any work or much else. She was doing what everyone assumed she does – shopping and partying. Not the hard work and massive charity that we know she does. I should’ve worded it better. I think I’m just dissapointed. I watched the show and I didn’t enjoy it. I was really dissapointed. But like you said, we haven’t seen the entire season, just one episode. I was expecting a bit more I suppose.

I thought her narrative was quite funny.

What did you expect? A saint sitting on a mountain top uttering high and noble expessions continually?

Paris is human with feelings and passions. Why should she not be able to express them like the rest of us.

We don’t have to agree with everything but her life IS different from other people, abd sometimes very similar.

That, after all, is the whole idea.

ive found it very entertaining and i loved the music during the show…but to me it seemed quite scripted…and i really dont see that much difference between the bf-paris and the twatp-paris…eg calling people hungry tigers all the time…
and if she wants to be taken seriously and act like a responsible adult why does she go partying till late at night while she has to get up at 6 o’clock the next day?she seems really immature in some ways…and the thing that i hated the most was her baby-voice while talking to cy…no woman that wants to be taken seriously by her partner should ever be talking in a baby-voice…thats bringing an unhealthy imbalance in every relationship with the woman to be on the weaker side…i still cant decide if the argument with cy was staged or not…if it was, cy is a really great actor lol…
but all in all its a good entertaining watch especially after a busy day at work
