Dave Grohl: Yes, I Am A Paris Hilton Bigot

It always amazes me when I read such idiotic and childish comments by celebrities trashing Paris Hilton. Either the person thinks Paris is really a spoiled brat or deliberately says them because he or she thinks it’s “fashionable” and can get away with it. I brand them “Paris Hilton Hater” or “Paris Hilton Bigot” depending on how harsh the comments are.

This is what famous singer Dave Grohl said about her: “[Paris is f***ing lame. She’s more offensive to me than anything. She’s a total, raging, disgusting, rich, lazy party sl*t. I pray that my daughter will not turn out like her.”]

Grohl fell out with Paris years ago after the musician claimed the reality TV star “put on the full princess attitude with her nose in the air.”

I don’t know what the last quote is all about, but it sounds to me so stupid.

But let’s analyse his comments. She’s not lame. She’s definitely not more offensive to him than anything. What the hell is he talking about? She’s raging? She’s obviously not disgusting. She is of course rich, but notice how wonderfully and directly Grohl mentions it. “She’s lazy party sl*t,” now that’s pretty lame to me. She’s not lazy, although sometimes she is (I’m talking about her work). She likes to party: nothing bad there. And that other word obviously doesn’t define her.

He would definitely want his daughter to turn out to be a rich, pretty, famous singer, actress, model and businesswoman. Basically, this guy is a hypocrite and a bigot.

Next celebrity-trasher…

Such a shame to read that, as I really respect(ed) Dave Grohl. Obviously he was a great drummer in Nirvana and early Foo Fighters was good, but if I’m honest he’s now living off past glories.

Dave, check out the Smashing Pumpkins for proof that you don’t have to disrespect Paris to be a credible rock star. In fact, as thewaymouth has pointed out before, it’s far more punk to embrace Paris, glory in the fact that so many people hate her, and NOT CARE about that. And we know Mr. Grohl has always been hung up on his “punk credibility”.

Sad, sad, sad… especially coming from a guy who always seemed pretty intelligent and easy-going.

Another disgusting excuse for human excrement then! I agree about the living off past glories bit. I agree about all these lazy celebrities bashing Paris because it’s “fashionable”, also because it’s safe for those content to be sheep and not have to stretch for their opinions (and usually while bashing one of the world’s most famous celebrities, they just happen to have a new product to promote themselves – coincidence I’m sure *wink*). Even if Paris did snub this guy in some way, does that really deserve these hateful comments as if he’s talking about the worst and most disgusting person in the world? I just imagine a raging, ranting lunatic who should be locked up before he hurts someone. He’s not shy telling others what he thinks, so I’ll be equally frank in saying that this worthless piece of shit bigot disgusts me and makes me feel like I need a shower for just being of the same species.

“We are the hollow men…”

As the saying goes, “No guts, no glory.” To me it takes guts to respect people not in authority, especially to respect people others already disrespect. It takes no guts at all to slam Paris. He slammed the hell out of Britney before the VMA’s, too. How brave. How cliche. It’s all bluster & posturing. For damn attention. For self-publicity. For street cred that has no real cred. To me. It just shows narrow mindedness, tearing someone down just to make yourself look better.

He’s old & fading, & she’s young & rising. He’s jealous.

I agree w/all the comments from the admin and the bloggers. Well done.

I was so damn mad when I first read these comments from Grohl, someone I used to be into. A lot. Then to read someone else’s comment here referencing me and my ideas as support of an argument against Grohl. How cool. I’m honored.

A lot of cool people are here and on the forum. Hell, you have to be cool, smart, open-minded, romantic, brave, you have to be a lover and a fighter and a dreamer to support and believe in Paris. You folks, and of course, our Queen, she makes it all worth it.
