E!: Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt have broken up?

E! has learned exclusively that Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt have broken up for a second time.

Despite rumors that the two were on their way to wedded bliss, a source tells E! the couple recently split up. Our source says Paris is the one who broke it off. “Obviously she broke up with him,” says our source.

Still, when asked earlier this week about a possible split, Paris told E!, “all is good.”

Obviously, there’s more here than meets the eye…

The split comes after weeks of Hilton and Reinhardt being photographed out separately. While Paris spent Easter with her family in Palm Springs, Reinhardt was in Aspen with his family.

Meanwhile, this weekend, Paris has been living it up looking single in Las Vegas where she partied at Wet Republic and Tao (where, coincidentally, Kim Kardashian’s ex Reggie Bush was also seen, though a source tells E! that Hilton and Bush did not interact).

Our sources say that Reinhardt had thought about visiting Hilton in Sin City to talk things out.

“He was in Aspen with his dad this weekend and was considering stopping by Vegas on the drive back, but changed his mind,” says our source. “I’m pretty sure that’s why he went to Aspen…to hide out and try to get over her.”

Yet if Reinhardt intends to win her back, he faces an uphill battle. This time, says the source, It’s really over.

Seems the falling out occured because Doug wanted her to appear to appear in his sisters reality show with him occasionally.

I think Paris is crazy for dumping Doug over this.
He was not trying to use her,as she feared.

Doug simply has the better vision imo.

This would be a great buiness deal for everyone involved, including Paris.

I hope they can re-negotiate.

IF they broke up over Doug quietly shopping a reality show, the Hiltons are over reacting.

Doug always seemed like a high caliber man to me – and a high caliber man will never be content to sit around as a boytoy or a yesman.

Paris should be happy she found someone who is a go-getter and willing to work at projects, instead of being a bum or a wimp.

What Doug did was the usual business twostep – anyone in business understands this. And of all people, the Hiltons should understand – these two families are very much alike.

If Paris lets her family ruin this relationship for her, she is an idiot.
Doug was tailor made for her, and surely both families could arrive at agreements that benefit everyone.

Don’t be so sure of that.

The longer she waits, the more baggage the next person will carry, and he’ll probably have kids too.

Doug did not cheat on her and he wanted to marry her from day one, she is a fool to let him go.

Trying to get ahead in business is not a minus point for Doug, the Hiltons do the exact same thing.
I don’t understand why they could not have helped Doug out a little, people always help each other in business.

Let me just add that David Katzenberg also shopped a new series to MTV.

Do you think anyone can do that just walking in off the street? He got in because his father is Jeffrey Katzenberg.

Yes, David will have to prove himself after that.
But I’m just pointing out that no one gets ahead without a little help at the beginning.

It’s the same for Doug.

woah, where are you getting all this information?

and how do you know “the hiltons” caused the break up in any way, much less “by over-reacting” to doug shopping a reality show? and doug’s parents are rich, if he needs help, then why don’t they help him? why should that be “the hiltons” responsibility?

(I’m not even sure who you mean by “the hiltons.”)

besides, paris should be looking forward to bigger/better projects where she is the star, not backwards to a bit spot on someone else’s reality show like a washed up has been.

anyway, i did see TMZ Live and they said the break-up was unconfirmed and as far as vegas goes, TMZ said that paris was simply in the same VIP area as Reggie and that they weren’t really hanging out, much less hooking up, so how is the starting a rumor? sounds like anything but to me.

I believe it was started by TMZ. This is what they posted on their website on April 12th 2010.

“Reggie Bush has been single for less than a month — and he’s already partying with Kim Kardashian’s arch-enemy … Paris Hilton!
Bush and Hilton lets the sparks fly at Tao nightclub in Vegas this weekend — we’re told Hilton’s man, Doug Reinhardt, was nowhere to be found.
What happens in Vegas … is definitely gonna piss off Kim.”

Why why did they post this BS story by simply assuming that Paris was partying with Reggie? When I see them and other sites invent stories like that, it makes me mad! People should be outraged at TMZ’ news quality!

check out more recent posts on TMZ and watch TMZ live. you’ll see they di change the story, and the original one you refer to was tongue-in-cheek inueno. sparks flying refred to the champagne fire works they were each olding in some of the pics.

anyway, drama over and resolved. still think doug, whether or not he really card for paris can make it on his own without using paris or her family.
