HairTech lawsuit against Paris Hilton dropped

Surprise! HairTech has decided to drop the $35 million lawsuit against Paris Hilton. A judge had previously dismissed most of the claims that were made in the lawsuit, and Paris had also countersued them.

Now the company’s founder and CEO Chris Volek admits that the claims were incorrect and that he falsely received information from other sources: “I am glad to put this case behind me. It was only after we got into the case that I realized the information I received from others and on which I based the lawsuit was not accurate, and I only wish the best for Paris and her family. As I have told her many times, Paris is a true professional and invaluable to the promotion of any product she touches.”

Paris has replied: “It is certainly not unusual for businesspeople to have their disagreements, but I am glad that Chris has acknowledged the hard work and dedication I put into promoting his products.” The terms of the settlement remain confidential.

Hrm… but it’s safe to say this long partnership between Paris and HairTech is sadly over.

I was hoping this would be the outcome. I’m glad the people at Hairtech are admitting they were in the wrong to some degree & are now parting amicably.
