Kathy Hilton On Entertainment Tonight Tonight

Paris Hilton’s mum, Kathy Hilton, tells Entertainment Tonight for a segment set to air tonight that the picaresque tale of her ex-convict singing daughter, who did time on DUI-related probation violation charges, will inspire other youngsters to be responsible, self-aware, self-possessed, well-read, well-nourished youngsters.

“Hopefully,” Kathy said, “it will set an example for other young people that you don’t get behind the wheel of a car with a drink.”

Kathy Hilton is aware of how terribly her girl suffered during her dark night of the soul in jail. “I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.”

[I'm not sure if this is old or new]

I think it’s new b/c on the ET site they have this up:
http://www.etonline.com/news/2007/12/56650/index.html
But I don’t know. I guess we’ll see tonight. I hope it’s new. It still burns me up though that Paris did WEEKS in jail while Lindsay and Nicole Richie only got a slap on the wrist and at most did an hour. People were so outraged over Paris but yet no one was the least bit outraged over those two. Ugh! I could go on and on about that but I won’t.

Sabrinia, that really annoys me too to this day! I hate how much Paris had to suffer from the whole experience and the way the media and much of the public wanted to make it even worse for her. The fact that these same jackals didn’t raise any kind of outcry over the ridiculous hour long sentences handed out to others, just shows how hypocritical they were. They pretended to be coming at the situation from a position of “moral outrage” but in reality what they were acting upon was what Paris sang about on track five of her album.

Exactly Django! And it’s like the judge in the case was even hypocritical and coming at the situation from a biased position. Normally people don’t serve those kinda sentences for a suspended license (because of jail overcrowding) but because it was Paris Hilton he threw the book at her. And then when the sheriff’s office tried to do the right thing and let her out after she had served about a week of her sentence, that still wasn’t enough for him.
But yeah I really wish I knew where people’s moral outrage was when Nicole and Lindsay were doing their hour long sentences. Sometimes the way people react to Paris, it’s almost as if they don’t realize she’s human. It’s like they have such venom towards her and I don’t understand it. With Paris people were foaming at the mouth over her whole jail experience and were utterly repulsed over her being let out early, while with Lindsay and Nicole there wasn’t the least bit outrage and especially nothing like what was directed towards Paris. I feel for her I really do.

BTW, on a totally different subject there’ll be a clip of Paris’ new movie on Entertainment Tonight tomorrow. They said that on tonight’s show just an FYI :)

I think we all know why she was a target. I also get mad when I think about it, but I try to concentrate more on Paris and hope she will change the mind of the public about her with all her upcoming projects. It’s difficult for her because of who she is, but it’s going to be interesting if she’s capable.

I’ll try to get that clip, Sabrinia. I hope “Hottie” is a smart and funny movie, not something like Pledge This.

Paris, she went into jail for probation violation.
Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie, they went to jail for drugs and because of their driving skills while driving unde the influence.
now… how is that fair that Paris had to spend weeks in jail
and they spent minutes?!
/sigh

Sadly, I think Hottie is going to be a sweet but cliche movie.
I think it will get negative reviews (people already have a bias opinion) and it will just be another romantic-comedy that will be forgotten. I do hope that it is funny and that the reviews are good but I just dont think it will be…
