Second Album Still In Works
After months of hearing nothing about her sophomore album, Paris Hilton said on the Fox Studios lot (‘Live Sets On Yahoo! Music’) that she is busy working on her second album. It wasn’t a reporter who asked her a question about it. She just mentioned it.
Actually this is what she said according to FOX News: “And I just finished a movie called ‘Repo! The Genetic Opera!’ and I have 12 songs in it, plus I’m working on a new album. Very busy.”

Yes!!!! This really made my day too. Its soooo good to hear she us “working” on the album and not just put that project aside like many other projects. And its super super good to hear Paris has so many tracks on Repo! I hope this story picks up!

Yeah! But i agree with thse who said she should wait until after seeing how Repo does before actually releasing the new album. If Repo goes well, it could be a major turning point for people to start taking her more seriously.
Also, I want to see Repo stadn on it’s own. if she has too much going on when it is released, she runs the risk of overexposure and diluting the attention from Repo.

Well, it’s great news for anyone who loves Paris’ music, that’s for sure. I can’t imagine that the album would be scheduled for anytime around the release of Repo, especially as there will no doubt be a Repo soundtrack out, so I guess at least 6 months gap between the projects would be reasonable, and no doubt Repo already has a planned release date.
So I think we may have to wait some time for a new album, but at least there will be one. And if it’s as good as the last one, it’s worth waiting for!

Ugh, she’s been working on this album forever. I remember in a interview she said she would come out with her second album a lot faster because “she knows what her style is now”.
I’m guessing late summer to winter.
