    Paris Hilton adopts a healthy lifestyle

    Paris Hilton has reportedly taken up bodybuilding.

    The 29-year-old socialite – who showed off a larger, more muscular figure when she walked down the catwalk at a Brazilian fashion show last week – is said to have been inspired by her fitness fanatic boyfriend Cy Waits and is apparently now on a 3,500 calories a day diet to keep her energy levels up for her intense workouts.

    A friend of the blonde star told Grazia magazine: “Paris has always preferred to stick to dieting all the time to maintain her figure. But since she’s been dating Cy, she’s got the bug. It’s a massive turnaround and now she’s working out so much that she’s often been seen on the treadmill drinking a milkshake.”

    Paris’ new daily exercise routine – which includes weightlifting, bench presses and running on the beach with Cy, 35 – means she can now indulge in her favourite fast food treats after years of depriving herself.

    Her friend said: “Paris has always loved junk food, but before she started working out to this extent, she had to deny her cravings. Now she feels she can indulge once in a while, as she’s burning so many calories.”

    Paris is delighted with the changes in her body and is planning to keep up her new regime.

    The source said: “She wants to change her image and get properly healthy. At first she was unsure and it took some getting used to, but now Paris loves her new body. And Cy loves it too – he’s always talking about how hot and gorgeous she is.”

    but i dont think eating burgers and drinking milkshake is healthy either…

    I don’t think that’s correct. I think Paris is the type of person who could eat a lot, but would never grow fat. So is my body like this. It’s genetics. We are naturally skinny, and it doesn’t matter what age you are, how much eat or how much you exercise. Maybe some people don’t believe this, but it’s true!

    I don’t think occasionally eating fast food is entirely unhealthy. Afterall, we need some fat. đŸ˜‰

    yeah! i’ve been advocating for years for her to build at least 8-10 lbs of lean muscle to be healthier. i do believe she is naturallly slim and taking adivan also increases metabolism. but although paris has always been slim, she has not really been physically fit.

    before, i don’t see how she could even jog/run around the block without getting winded as her cardio component of fitness has been so low. further, she has never had much muscle strength given how tiny and soft her muscles have been.

    all-in-all, increasing her cardio and strength is by far better from a health stand point than just being slim, but soft and weak.

    only other component is continuing to improve her nutrition. as she moves into her thirties, metabolism naturally slows done UNLESS you really increase cardio workouts on a daily basis. plus i think we all know that fast food is very poor nutritional quality on a nuttrient-to-calorie basis and should be avoided. there are healtheir ways to make burgers and fries withouth all the unhealthy saturated fat.

    finally, i would not advocate 3000 + calories per day for her. that would mandate a 4-5 hours per day intense workout regime. remember, even extra protein or carbohydrate calories taken in and not burened, are stored as body fat!

    sorry, i’m a personal trainer, so when i hear stuff like this, it makes me a littel crazy because a lot of people will think it’s okay to do this since they hear paris is doing this.

    bottomline, work with a qualified trainer!

    3,500 calories/day are wayyyy too much for a woman her size!!

    Remember, fat cells once deveoped will never disappear. They can only be liposuctioned out.

    Deliberately eating a high calorie diet is insane!

    Once she stops her high intensity workouts, due to travel or pregnancy, she might pack on pounds.

    Cy is a good guy but he looks too beefy.

    Paris had better stick to Pilates instead.

    The report is probably not entirely true. Even Paris admitted it on her Twitter.

    You guys should see her in person one day, and you’ll see how tiny she really is. But I like her that way, hehe.
