“Paris Hilton” Declining?

If you had googled for “Paris Hilton” just a couple of days ago, Google would have given you about 20,100,000 pages for that term. That alerted me into thinking that Paris Hilton was sinking as a celebrity, but then, the news about her court appearance popped up and very slowly, every media on the internet spread it. I noticed that at first it didn’t spread as triumphantly as other Associated Press reports normally do, but only after Thursday, everyone had finally heard about it.

Then, slowing the numbers started to increase on google. 20,100,000 pages became 25,100,000 pages, and finally, 35,100,000 pages, as it should be (but that’s a bit far from the usual 45,100,000 pages). Maybe it was because Google was updating their database.

But this is still a sign. It is the consequence of Paris taking a distance from the spotlight. Since Fall 2006, she promoted other people’s product, just to make money without actually doing something personally. She recently launched her clothing and watch lines, but these are very minor business work and we haven’t heard much about them.

I think the Simple Life 5 will help her fully gain back her fame. If this season fails, it will be the beginning of the end. And that will be because of Paris Hilton, herself. But, maybe she just wants to take a break or just keep a distance and have a private life for a while.

I know this sounds crazy, but I know many of you feel this way.

The good news is that she surprised us by getting back her licence this week and that’s a very good news, because she’s letting us know that everything the media is reporting is not true. Maybe, there’s more to her driving case than we know. Maybe, the media is still trying to play games and report false information. Paris is very good at surprising us; getting back her keys really leaves us with many unanswered questions.

Now all she needs to do is go to court and win that case, and get over it. This will be crucial for her because right after the verdict, she will start promoting the Simple Life and she won’t want to face embarrassing questions.
