I Need You wont be on the album, it’s back from ’08 and I assume it was mostly done as a cute gift to Benji or something. I actually like the full version, I love the whole 50′s vibe the song has. It’s painfully adorable and almost too sweet. Her vocals are brilliant too. But yeah, I doubt the song will make the album, I doubt any of the previously released (Platinum Blonde, Crave etc) will make the album.

This is so exciting about the music video! It’s rather nifty timing because I was just giving up and then suddenly she’s recording a music video. Perfect! I’m going to make a bet that this song will be called Tease. I don’t mind if I’m wrong, I just like the fact we officially have a song to talk about. I read this article that has pictures of Paris on set, in a bright pink bikini, pink heels and blue glasses. She looks amazing. She’s surrounded by dancers dressed in black and white wearing quite funky outfits. The article also mentioned Paris has worked with Linda Perry, which we already knew, didn’t we? It rang a bell. So, that’s Linda Perry and Darkchild we know she has worked with – this album is going to be aaaamazing.

Hey guys! News for you all:

First of all, Paris IS planning to put I Need You on the album. She recorded most of the songs for the album back in 2008. Such a Platinum Blonde, I Need You, Girl Tax and Crave. So yes these will be on her second upcoming album.

Second, the music video Paris shot was NOT for a new song on her upcoming album. I spoke with her and she said it wasn’t for that. Sorry to disappoint you, but I just want to make sure you all have the details.

It wasn’t the music video for “I Need You”. She’s in Ibiza, Spain shooting some promos for Privilege nightclub and its SuperMartXé summer party. She’s expected to attend the party Friday July 30th. Hopefully she’ll release her new music later this year…

Hrm yeah, she didn’t write “MY music video,” but “THE music video.” What a coincidence that “I Need You” was leaked at the same time, heh!

True. But she actually didn’t leak the song. Neither did her crew. I asked them, but they didn’t know anything about it until I mentioned it.

Are you sure it’s not for a new single? She did tweet that she was going to the set of “my” music video originally and then later referred to it as “the” music video. Plus with all these celeb news sites reporting that she’s filming her new MV, along with people commenting about it on Twitter, if the video wasn’t for a new single, wouldn’t she have tweeted by now a clarification? Plus, why would she spend two days filming promos for a party on Friday? And then call them a music video instead of saying she was filming promos? It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Hmm…just noticed that the SuperMartXe logo is on that disco ball thing in the photo she tweeted. Guess it is just a promo after all rather than a video for a new single, but maybe the song in it will still be a new Paris song?

She did actually write MY music video originally so I hope it does turn out to be a new song by her. Even if it’s just a buzz song like Paris For President was, any new Paris music & accompanying video would be great! Career wise she’s been quiet all year! If she just releases a dancey, Ibiza-style track, she could jus put it on iTunes or SwagHouseMedia again to remind people she’s still here!

Are you sure Paris is going to use the ’08 recorded songs on the album? I just find that a bit hard to believe. For a ‘Kylie Minogue-inspired, dance’ album, I Need You doesn’t exactly seem to fit. And I’m guessing Crave, Girl Tax, Platinum Blonde were re-recorded, as they were a tad lack luster in the original 30-second clips.

I’m severly dissapointed. It’d be nice if Paris could just clarify some stuff, we’re all so eager for new tunes. Paris knows how the media and her fans would’ve thought she meant for her own song. The way she worded her tweets was suggestive to it being HER music video. I know she said “THE music video” but, I would’ve thought she would have said “doing a music video for [insert artist's name here]“. I guess I’m just hopeful. Eh.

Since you seem to have some communication going on with Paris, Kassidy, do you know if she recorded a song with Darkchild or Linda Perry?

Yes she is using some of those. Platinum Blonde for sure. That was not re-recorded. They are better quality though than the clips were. The clips don’t stack up to the originals. I’ve heard the full version and I told her she should use that one as a single.

Hmm I haven’t asked her about that yet. I mean I’ve only heard a few songs off of the album. One of the unreleased tracks is absolutely fantastic! I can’t say the title, but it’s a great dance/club track. I can try and find out more about the album, but I’ll have to do it when she’s back from Europe. She’s a hard woman to get a hold of. And when I meet with her next, I’ll get full details.

The celebrity sites were just assuming that she was filming a music video for her new single, like we did. Their source was Paris’ twitter.
