Paris Hilton gives insight about her upcoming projects

During an interview at the premiere party for “The World According to Paris, the “Stars Are Blind” singer revealed details about her new projects.

As you may already know, Paris has changed the direction of her album. It seems that there won’t be any pop songs on her second album. Paris said her new album will be entirely house music and that the songs will more club and dance-oriented. She added that she would love to collaborate and make a song with music producer David Guetta.

Paris confirmed that she’s writing another book, but she didn’t reveal more than that. She’s also getting ready to release a new line of clothing and sunglasses. A new skin care line as well as a new makeup line will be on the market soon.

Finally, she’s also planning to open her very own beach clubs and hotels overseas.

So… Kylie Minogue-esque album no more?

Kylie Minogue is dance music though, so I’m sure Paris will still be using at least some of the songs she’s recorded so far that were Kylie-inspired, but is just going to record a bunch of new stuff that’s more house-inspired I guess? I hope we won’t have to wait too long for the new album to come out.

She keeps changing the direction of the album. She could have released like 3 albuns by now. I feel like she will never release a new album.

Another book is long overdue! A lot has happened since 2004. Some of her outlooks on life are completely different & I don’t think COAH gives good insight into the Paris of today. I’ve been awaiting a proper follow-up & I’m glad it may finally be on the horizon. 🙂

Talk of a new book and a new direction for the next album is the kind of thing I like to hear. I really enjoyed Paris’ first album but did not like what I heard of those bubblegum pop songs from a few years ago (and all the talk of the album being Kylie Minogue inspired – I have never listened to her).
