I am not a career counselor, but in my honest opinion, I think Paris would have a better life if she was in New York with her sister Nicky, doing fashion related stuff at the current moment. She is a fashion model by trade and should be hanging around other beautiful fashion models friends. This is her career. I think New York would be better for her full time and Los Angeles for vacation or filming related reasons.
And if you ever were too drunk to drive home from a dinner or party, then there are tons of cabs in Manhattan.

If you look back at all the jokes made about Paris Hilton, on Letterman where he showed videos of a reckless driver, O’Brien with audience clapping for a long time, or Kimmel where Paris ran out of gas, it was all because of her and driving.

If she was in Manhattan working on her fashion modeling/runway career with Nicky, I bet she would have never gotten those jokes made of her, because she would have never gotten into those driving incidents at that particular time. She probably would have driven sober in Manhattan when she wasn’t going to any places where alcohol would be available, and just take cabs wherever she felt like there might be some.

And, for some extra thoughts, when she was doing the fashion shows from the videos, she looks very mature and professional, but everything she is doing in the west coast seems or makes her seem immature and unprofessional (Simple Life, music the song Jealousy) Didn’t UB40 say her song Stars are Blind sounds similar to Kingston Town?

And didn’t she get some Ferrari from the owner of Club Paris in Florida?

I think she is an East Coast girl or maybe gets treated better there.

While I know that Paris can be/is an excellent model, I think disagree with you. I think Paris has a great potential to become a singer. Many fans agree with me.

Paris has also wanted to be a serious singer and an actress for a long time, even before Simple Life came on.

It is her wish to become one. I personally believe that what she’s most good at is singing and creating good music, and it’s her #1 priority.

I became a fan of Paris’s because I started liking her music. I still love her music, and always will. She’s one of my favorite artists ever.

Personally I think Paris should do whatever she wants and live out whatever dream she wants, as long as she’s not hurting others or herself.

I became a fan of Paris through The Simple Life which has brought a lot of joy to me and cheered me up through many rough times. I enjoyed Paris’s movie House Of Wax. I enjoyed Paris’s autobiography. I love Paris’s album and it became an instant favourite. Who is anyone else to deny me or Paris these things, which I don’t consider to be the slightest bit immature or unprofessional?

I’m sure Fred that you have posted this same spiel before. Why can’t you just let Paris be who she wants to be and accept it, instead of expecting her to fit into a career cage tailored by you? And as I said the last time, there’s nothing wrong with modelling and I welcome Paris doing more of it if she has further wishes in that direction, but many successful models aren’t content to merely be models and have branched out into acting (Milla Jovovich – also a singer/songwriter, Rebecca Romijn, Tricia Helfer, Missy Peregrym etc).

And how do you really know, that as Paris grew older in New York that she wouldn’t do some of the same things. I’m sure Manhattan is anything but alchohol free as is being suggested and alcohol is wrongly assumed to be a bigger issue than it is Paris. Sure she drinks as do many of us. But the incident where she was arrested was a simple misjudgement (I’m sure misjudgements happen in New York too, they certainly happen everywhere else that I know of), which was also a case of having nothing to eat all day and having been working all day on a music video. It is wrong on the information or evidence availabe to assume that Paris has any kind of drinking problem.

Anyway, as this has come up before, I’m sure anything anyone else says will just go through one ear and out the other. But I’m glad that Paris is living her life the way she wants.
