Paris Hilton Hears “TURN IT UP” And “STARS ARE BLIND” In Russian Boutique
As you know Paris Hilton is in Russia promoting someone else’s clothing line. While she was there shopping in fashion designer Kira Plastinina’s boutique, she heard several times her songs “Turn It Up” and “Stars Are Blind.” This is big news, my friends. I’m not kidding.
So after buying 10 000$ worth of stuffs and leaving the store, she meet with Kira to answer a few questions at a press conference.
BTW, I should mention that I’m also impressed by Kira Plastinina’s work especially since she’s very young. I think it’s great that she built all of this herself.
While Paris was answering questions, about music, she said she recorded an album for Repo! lol ok, I know. But she didn’t talk about her second album. If you hear something about it in the video, let me know!
To be honest, I didn’t really understand why Paris needed to be there to promote someone else’s clothing line. She says she likes Kira’s collection, but the whole thing is kinda irrelevant and “anticlimactic”. Anyway, just saying…
However, it’s good that Paris visited a country like Russia. I don’t think she’s been there before, so I’m happy for Russian fans.

I love Paris with the lollypop!
I’m assuming of course that Paris means a cast soundtrack album rather than a whole album on her own, lol (not that I wouldn’t enjoy a full rock album themed around the movie from her)! I hope Paris has at least a couple of full length songs on the soundtrack though.

Well Im russian, and i heard on the russian radio 87.1 am that Kira asked Paris to come because she admired her so she payed her 2 million to come. Paris wasnt promoting kiras line, she just showed up for the show and after spent $250,000 on a shopping spree in moscow. Paris liked an outfit and kira said she can have it. Paris going to moscow was a great publicity stunt for both of them. There was a lot of media attention! Having Paris in russia, is huge- her name and photo were on front ages of the papers and the entire city was aware of her coming- she got a lot of publicity out of it and at a good time, when she just came out with Can-Can and Repo trailer.

^^^ yeh just seen the video, maybee she was promoting her line a tad, but it shows that shes no self centered and money hungry… she acted liek a great role model and by $250000 i meant in rubles. Which is like you said $10,000. Paris totally played it smart- i wouldnt be surprised if she becomes the new face of some russian product.
p.S- In NY all the russian newspapers are all writing about her in moscow

There is nothing wrong with Paris doing promotions for other lines.
We forget that Paris is an international celeb and she thinks BIG.
With Donald Trump as her idol, of course she has her hands in many pies. We just need to start thinking international.

I think Paris needs to work and expand her brand (clothing, etc) internationally. Right now, a brand (Paris) is promoting another brand, which is kinda cheesy.
I have mixed feelings about this, but since it’s not really a big deal and won’t cause a lot of trouble, I guess I’m ok with it. This is just a personal opinion. Of course, there’s the money so it’s understandable. She just shouldn’t overdo it. And as someone else said here, Kira’s collection might be different than hers.

This is good news, Paris needed to get some sort of “fan base” started in Russia.
