Paris Hilton was misled by talent promoters

Some parts were written by Fox8Live.com

The bosses of top store Mediastar, where Paris Hilton was supposed to appear on September 12th to choose the winner of a contest, are suing Paris for $7.3 million and now it looks as if others she let down are following suit.

German newspaper Bild reports a $34 million class action suit is planned.

Michael Marx, who organized the events in Germany, tells the publication:

Mediastar is not alone with the lawsuit. Paris Hilton also pulled out of appearances in Italy, postponed flights, threw the whole program over. After examination of all the facts and contracts it (suit) can even become more than ($34 million).

    What really happened

    A spokesperson for Paris says:

There are a number of inaccurate reports and stories circulating about Paris Hilton’s recent trip to Germany and Italy that we would like to correct.

Miss Hilton was visiting Europe as part of a business agreement with talent promoters Pietro Tavallini and Simone Oliboni’s Euro Fashion Management SRL for which Miss Hilton had agreed to make two nightclub appearances in Italy, appear on the Italian beauty pageant “Miss Italia” and make a personal appearance at one nightclub in Germany. The agreement clearly stated that the venues would be nightclubs with a straightforward personal appearance.

On arriving in Germany Miss Hilton’s security visited the ‘night club’ booked for the appearance and discovered it was a strip club, the venue had been misrepresented to Miss Hilton by the talent promoters. Miss Hilton does not support or endorse strip clubs and this type of establishment. Given this blatant and exploitive misrepresentation, the promoters were in material breach of their contract and Miss Hilton was, consequently, excused from further obligation to appear and instead remained in the privacy of her hotel. Any other reports of events from this night are fabricated and false.

Miss Hilton did honor the remainder of her agreement with the promoters and attended the additional three events in Italy. One of the night club appearances was part of a gay rights rally, a topic Miss Hilton has always openly supported and has regularly voiced her support and love for her gay fans around the world. Miss Hilton was fully supportive of the event and any other reports are exaggerated.

Bildzeitung is a sensationalistic type newspaper, sort of like the Enquirer.

If there is a lawsuit it will come down to the misrepresentation issue, especially since Paris apparently fulfilled all the other requirements of the agreements.

Looks like the people booking the German venture did not understand the difference between a Nachtclub (nightclub) and a Nacktclub (stripclub).

The booking agents should be fired.

Wasn’t it clear who Van anhalt was and what he did and owned? Dawn had posted on this site that Paris was somehow related to him through Zsa Zsa. many other posters wrote about his background, strip clubs and bordellos. I think Dawn or Jen defended Paris’ decision despite the comments of the posters and Van Anhalt’s background. How did Paris and/or her handlers not understand the clubs and Van Anhalt?

Hopefully it all gets worked out nicely for all involved.

Just reread my comment and just wanted to state I wasn’t suggesting anything bad. I just didn’t understand how people on a website could know but Paris and her handlers didn’t know. I hope it works itself out mostly for Paris.

I translated that the paper said they are DISTANTLY related.
Which is correct since Zsa Zsa is married to FREDERICK von Anhalt, they are an elderly couple now.

Yes, absolutely. I saw nothing wrong with Paris attending Markus v. Anhalt’s Frankfurt nightclub for a few hours, regardless of the owner’s reputation.
Especially since it was described as a plush and upscale new club. in a string of nightclubs.

But hey, it’s not my decision to make.

Zsa Zsa’s hubby is a regular contributer to TMZ, where he routinely bashes paris and the whole hilton family, but then again he bashes everybody he talks about on there.

he’s kind of a lonely old douche trying to find something to do with himself. you may well remember him from last year when he claimed he was robbed in his mercedes by a group of women who took his wallet and all his clothes. yep that’s right, when the police found him sitting naked in his car, that’s what he told them. funny thing, they left him keep the car and his cell phone. go figure. anyway, the guy is a bit of a nut who spends zsa zsa’s money and goobers about town, lunching at the ivy and again hanging out with TMZ photogs.
