Paris Hilton’s Shaman Is A Faker

Remember when ParisHiltonSite.net and other news sites reported about Paris Hilton meeting a Shaman who was seen with her in a bookstore and also, blessed Paris in public in front of the paparazzi!?

Now it turns out that the guru is only an actor who has appeared in many TV shows and movies. All entertainment news shows reported about the fakeness of the Shaman. The hateful entertainment show eTalk Daily, which airs on the hateful CTV network, in Canada said: “Clearly, Paris has no shame.”

So of course, since almost everyone hates Paris, they all said that it was a publicity stunt or that she was pretending to be spiritual. Let’s just do a bit a research here and ask a few questions.

The fake Shaman’s name is Maxie Santillan, and he is an actor, who played a role in “My Name is Earl.” It is possible they met each other during the filming of “My Name is Earl” because Paris is going to appear on that show.

Second, my question is: Was Paris aware that he wasn’t a guru and was faking it? Was Paris doing this just for fun? Or was Paris hanging out with this “Shaman” just to show the public that she’s a spiritual person?

Whatever the reason, it just isn’t kewl to do this, especially since last year, she said she was becoming more spiritual, etc. But I don’t think she didn’t know he was acting. The whole thing is just ridiculous and makes her look bad.

In the other post, James said: “Maybe she just wants to remind the world that she is nice and funny and doesn’t take herself too seriously.” And CC was right when he said: “THAT GUY IS AN ACTOR.” ParisLover said: “This is not looking good, she steps out with an engagement ring and now she is shopping for spiratual books either for benji or for her wedding.” And finally juju said: “okay, now is he really a ‘shaman’ or just some guy with a beard and long hair?” Looks like not all of you were fooled.

All emails and questions will be answered this Friday. Sorry for the late reply.

Couldn’t this have possibly been for her role on Earl? Not a very good decision, but I would think that it’s part of the show or its publicity.

Anyway, her pr people are either retarded, brilliant, or hate her. Retarded for letting her do something like this, if it was for a tv show, brilliant if they want her to be a laughingstock. She’s enduring a couple of days of “paris is a joke”, “paris is making fun of religion”, “paris is using religion as a publicity stunt”, etc just for a show. Alternatively, her pr people don’t like her and they simply want her to get bad press (just kidding).

Just in the last couple of days Barrymore donated 1mm, Becks is in Chinese children’s hospital’s, but somehow Paris is in a stunt with a fake shaman. Especially after about 5 birthday parties, a week in Vegas, and a few solid months of partying, couldn’t she have just dropped by a hospital, even if just for pub or done something charitable. As admin said, she’s talked about being spiritual etc. and now it’s kind of a joke, which is not what she needs (IF she wants to be taken seriously.)

It’s just weird, it’s like she, nor anyone around her can READ THE ROOM. After the performance of Hottie, the jail stint, getting booed at the Scream awards, etc. they still seem to want to make her a joke until she gets rocks thrown at her or has to move to Peru.

She seems to want to be taken seriously, so do something serious/charitable, if for no other reason than to throw the public a changeup. Also, being a billboard for Madden’s clothing co. doesn’t help.

I root very much for her, but her, or her people’s, decision making mechanism just doesn’t seem to be there sometimes.

Wedding? What the fuck?

I feel like she didn’t know he was a fake. Paris isn’t the best actress in the world and the way she was acting in the videos I saw I don’t know it seemed pretty sincere and stuff. And like she really thought she was with a real guru. I don’t know. I’m probably wording it wrong but yeah. I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt.

That’s possible to Sabrina. I was also giving her the benefit of the doubt, just saying that it was something that the Earl people and/or her pr people had her do to publicize her upcoming episode.

We need 2 give her a break. If she were to go to a children’s hospital tomorrow the public would have something bad to say about it like, “Paris is just pretending to care now so that people will like her”. Most people don’t like her, and the main reason why she has been so popular for such a long time is because people like to think bad things about her. They make her out to be worse than she really is. They think everything she does is stupid and she is just a failure at life, and they will always have something bad to say about anything she does. However, Paris continues to be really successful despite all the bad press. Everyone would love to make as much money as she does while still enjoying life. If we are sitting here criticizing what she does and saying that she is doing a bad job, then we aren’t any different from the haters. So what if she was hanging out with a fake guru? I trust that Paris and her people know what they’re doing, and the bet we can do is just support what she is doing.

I have to agree with David. The thing is that yes, people will criticize her if she engages herself in a major charity project or if she does simple charity work. But if she does it every week, stays commited and shows the public that she wants to make a difference, then, things will change.

Working for charity here and there won’t do much. I know she’s overall doing well, but if she works a bit harder, people will respect her and give her credit. It will boost everything in the long run.

I agree with the author of adderworld.com. When she was sent to jail, she saw reality and the true causes of her being sent to jail. She knew that she had to end the hatred, but now that everything is calm, she’s ignoring them.

The problem with this fake guru story is that whatever the goal was, it just gives a reason for haters to trash her more. If she didn’t know he was fake, then that’s another story, but I doubt it.

You really want to help Paris and make her a huge and respectable star, but it’s just she only listens to herself or maybe, to her “professional and tricky” advisers. Haters are unpleasant people, but sometimes, you have to listen to what they say and see if you’re doing something wrong.

I really think that Paris could achieve a lot of things if she puts some effort… some serious effort, because it’s always the same story. She says she’s doing to do this and that, you wait, wait, wait and there’s nothing, like she completely ignores you (fans and haters).

And the media people of course, aren’t even aware of her projects, so you don’t learn much from interviews. Why hasn’t any interviewer asked her a question about her music tour or charity work (house for inmates, etc), even though they were fully allowed to ask questions about her projects and career?
Blah, anyway!

Yea i guess you’re right admin. But i guess basically what i mean is that Paris doesn’t have to do anything. She doesn’t owe anybody anything so she can do whatever she wants because she has a good life. Ur right when u say that she could really change and achieve a lot of things, but she might not want to or be ready to be Angelina Jolie. Plus I hope she always stays fun and “hot” and stuff. I liked Paris to begin with because she’s fun, carefree, funny, and has a “hot” lifestyle. I then found out that she has a lot of determination, work ethic, and is a good person. So we know she has it, it’s just a matter of what she cares about and what she wants to do with herself. I don’t judge her for what she does. I just like her.

Personally I feel like Paris could cure cancer and non-fans/haters would be like, “Well she didn’t do it quick enough. Millions and millions of people have already died…” and still not give her a chance, change their opinion or give her any respect. I just think unfortunately she can’t win for losing.

I agree with you Sabrina. It’s almost too late to really change her image and almost anything she does won’t be given as much credit as she deserves, but over time it would make a difference. This just didn’t seem like the right prank, joke, publicity stunt or whatever it was to help her accomplish what she seems to want to do.

In all the interviews that I see or read she seems to be trying to do that. (talking about her businesses, her projects, what she’s really like, she’s “a human being with feelings”, environmentally conscious, taking on acting roles, etc.) I still think that she can get people to think of her more positively. (Not everyone, but that’s impossible anyway for anyone, and probably not really desired by anyone, anyway. We all want room to be ourselves, which everyone won’t like.)

Even if this was a joke, it makes people doubt her sincerity about what she’s said about spirituality or some of the other serious things she keeps discussing. I just think that if she let another side of her be seen, which we all believe is there, then she might have an easier time of it when it comes to promoting movies or even having a little bit of public opinion on her side, if needed. Joking around is fine or using it for publicity etc, it just seems like she could either find a different subject to joke with or do someting to balance out the image a bit over the course of time.

oaky, he’s an actor, but he still may be a spiritual dude, just not a shaman or maybe not. who knows stranger things have happened.

but i’,m not ready to concede this was a PR stunt by paris for any reason. one possibility is that they are friends, were out together for whatever reason and the papparazzi jumped to the conclusion he was a holy man and they just decided to play along as a joke becasue they thought it was so asurd that nobody would actually take it seriously.

oh and all the charity expectations… I think she should just do what she beleives in whenever she wants to to do it without making it a be PR imaging -changing event.

personally, i think most stars who do chairity just do it for their own egos, images and publicity. so i’m not easily impressed by that kind of behavior. the hilton family has been giving tons of money to chairties for years and have never make a big public deal of it. so i say props for that and let it go..

It doesn’t have to be charity. That’s just what she’s talked about so much. How about a pic of her at her business, maybe at a board room table or working with a designer? Wasn’t she documenting this to show people how much she worked. Release one or two pics. Her playing tennis? who knows, but change the image a little bit for the reasons stated or just to prevent being so typecast.

david,

i agree. we see her talking about her designs, but we have never seen a behind the scenes look or interview of her actually working to develop her designs. but then again most of her interviews have been done outsie of LA where she works.i hope they would consider doing that now that she is in La or any time she is home.

http://www.hollywood.com/news/Hiltons_Guru_Date_Was_Set_Up_for_Kutchers_New_Prank_TV_Show/5096924

If you read that article it was all set up for a new TV show Ashton Kutcher is doing.

From: david

I saw that a couple of days ago. That’s what I was referencing above about it being for E rather than for Earl. it still makes her look foolish (and Ashton too) and not many people will hear about or watch a show on E.

Anyway, if they really wanted to do this, then they should have gone with something like having her meet with a recognizable political reporter or consultant and made like she was running for Congress. At least something like that, as opposed to mocking spirituality. It’s just not great for her to mock spirituality, which is what they did whether it was for E or for Earl. Moreover, as discussed above, if she wants to be taken seriously by the public, the vast majority of which don’t watch E or read TMZ, etc, then I think that she needs to change the image rather through charitable works, a greater view into her work life, etc. Anyway, . . .
