I don’t think Paris is handling the break up very well. She’s doing a whole load of partying. She was out with AVRIL LAVINGE. Why oh whyy D: Avril is utter scum and after the comments she has made about Paris in the past. Geee.

Kevin,

I hope you get to see it soon!!

scot,

Are you sure? Avril has been seen with Paris a few times in the past, if I remember correctly.

I hope she won’t go back to the old days of partying, etc. You guys have to admit that Benji had influenced Paris a lot in a positive way.

Well, I guess it’s safe to say that the new album won’t be released in November or anytime soon. We don’t even have a real single. And it’s unlikely that the album will be released under Warner Bros.

I say let’s all focus on Repo! The movie and the soundtrack continues to grow on me every day. I want to see it in theaters again so badly!

Has she? I just remember a few years back Avril saying some comments about her. So I was pretty stunned to see them together. But they did look like they were having a good time so you’re probably right.

Benji did have a very positive influence on Paris, her only going out with work related stuff/paid apparences and she was on the road to doing her second album.

but yer, I agree. focus on Repo!

Paris and Avril were seen together on November 21st. There were photos on another fansite. They were at a club called Villa. Earlier in the same night, Paris was also out with friends (including BFF’s Brittany) at another club.

Paris has been doing a lot of business, promotion and filming of late, so I don’t see the harm in partying as such (the same people always badmouth her whether she does or not). I just hope that any fun she seems to be having isn’t completely put on and that she really is being able to move on from her recent split.

Most of Hollywood parties, usually for a fee. But only Paris gets criticized for doing the same thing .
Totally crazy.

Avril shoots her mouth off. She tries to be funny and often times is. That doesn’t mean she hates people she dishes. She’s not a hater.
Paris laughed her ass off in that firecrotch video, but that doesn’t mean she hates Lindsay.
I didn’t see any comments from Avril or Lindsay jumping on Paris when she was in jail.
Anyway, Avril is the artist of the decade – Paris hanging around Avril can be a good thing.
Love to see Paris work with Avril
Paris, Avril, Lindsay and Britney are my fav four.
Loves my girls.

New Paris blog: Just inviting everyone to check Repo!
Exclusive Pictures and New Music from Me!

I told her “Paris does Repo” is on my MySpace and blog.

PS I haven’t seen Repo! so I could be wrong, but from the videos I have seen, the 3 min video of Paris does Repo is better than Repo! Just MHO. (I didn’t tell Paris that part.)

PS DLB turned down Avril’s offer to work on and even write songs for Repo! But he turned her down. He can do what he wants. But DLB is not known as songwriter. Avril is only excited about his movie, and is the best songwriter and singer of the decade.
Avril will go on to continued success and Repo! goes on to bomb. Whatever.

Avril is far from the singer of the decade :/ Her last album, quite a lot of the songs were plain rip offs, she destroyed any chance of actually being respectable and she is a complete sour puss. I respect Darren’s choice for turning down Avril, I think Alexa has a much nicer voice and is more fitting for the role of Shilo. Also, they didnt need anymore help writing lyrics, they had all done that, Darren Smith and Terrance Zdunich. DLB didn’t have much to do with the writing of the music he just directed it.

How old are you thewaymouth? I’m guessing 14/15?

You obviously are a huge pop fan hence why you probably wont understand Repo! which is a pure rock/opera. If You dont have any actual intelligent input just be quite.

“If You dont have any actual intelligent input just be quite.”

Is that so, Scott?
Is this YOUR site?
Didn’t think so.
I’ve been around since the beginning of this site.
I won’t be quite or quiet or whatever.
I didn’t tell you to shut up, or question your age and intelligence. I didn’t call you any names.
But I admit my comments were driven by my being incensed at your saying Avril is, “utter scum.”
Is that what you refer to as, “intelligent input”?
There is no call for that kind of comment here or anywhere.
That’s the kind of talk that is used by haters of Paris all the time.
BTW, in case you hadn’t noticed, not many celebs are fans of or like to hang with Paris. Avril does.
BTW, Paris looks totally sober in the pics with Avril, like she is keeping an eye out for her… Loves it.

FYI this is what DLB said: “Avril Lavigne almost came on board and she wanted to write her own songs and I’m like absolutely not. There’s none of that. There was a one unified vision that wasn’t just me, it was three of us. It was Darren Smith, Terrance Zdunich and myself to make what this became.”

He is strictly talking about the song writing, then says he was a part of the unified vision. Certainly sounds like he is saying he was part of shaping the music for the film.

You say Repo! is “pure rock/opera.” Oh, like what? Tommy, JC Superstar, Quadrophenia, American Idiot? All of which were successful, are great, and rock! While Repo does not. I have heard many of the songs. It is much more opera than rock. Not so pure. Hell, Rocky Horror Picture Show rocks so much more. Rocky Horror had a hit song as well, The Time Warp. Will Repo? Hell no. That dog won’t hunt. No hit for movie or musical. And Avril Lavigne’s latest album was the 5th best selling album of last year, and rocks Repo! out of the water.

You’re entitled to your opinion. So am I and just about every movie and music and opera critic on the planet who are panning Repo!

I put the “Behind the Scenes” at Repo! on my MySpace because I support Paris.

It’s Scot, one t thanks :]

There was no need for Avril to write new songs, it was already formed. It was a theatre production before. All the songs were written, the story done.. they were just bringing it to the big screen. Avril would have been quite decent for the role if the character Shilo was 5-10 years older. Alexa has an innocence to her but also the attitude Shilo needed. Repo! is pure rock opera. It’s not a maintstream rock sound. It is a more metal, goth, industrial influenced sound. It is the much heavier, darker stuff. Its a whole lot dirtier then what you listed. You’ve also got to remember Rocky Horror Picture Show has been around for how long? Repo! came out on November 7. The Time Warp is known by a tonne of people but it wasnt actually successful. Its just a well known song. Yer Avril’s album was the 5th best selling of the year but is was far from a critical success, and can you count the number of plagiarism allegations there were? I don’t think its at all fair to compare Avril, someone quite mediocre to a fantastic breath of freshair that is Repo!.

REPO!: Worst Movie of Year… countless critics lists

Golden Raspberries 2009
Nominations and Awards
…to come

From: scot
Time: November 25, 2008, 5:12 pm

I don’t really care about all those awards and nominations. You can hear for yourself that she has ripped off songs. “Any lawsuits and allegations ALL were dropped.” there was only one lawsuit, everyone else shrugged it off and had a bit of a laugh at Avril.

Repo! is far from the worst movie of the year, critics are well known for their ‘stiffness’ and only liking a certain type of movie, the cliché oscar winners. All Repo! fans had already predicted the critics were going to hate it, people were already looking down on it because Paris was in it, the director of the Saw sequels directed it and it mixed gore with opera. However the more important verdict is the public and it has an amazing 91% on rotten tomatoes.
It probably will get a golden raspberry! but good on it! i think it is one of the most marvellous projects to come out of the modern cinema. wether its shit or fantastic, its original! because it is such a huge risk to make a movie like this, it may inspire other film makers to have the courage to create their passion project. this movie is much more than a movie, its an event, its inspirational. its amazing.

My support of Repo! and Paris is unconditional, both express self belief and having that confidence to go up against the critics who want nothing more then to see you fail. You speaking so poorly of a project that is a whole lot more then just some silly movie is really annoying. it’s brought a whole group of people together and given them something to love and to feel that pure joy of actually feeling like you belong. So you stick to listening to Avril, I’m going to go and listen to some real music.
