Repo! soundtrack doing very well

The Repo! soundtrack is doing very well on Amazon. It peaked at #17 in the Music category. I’m assuming that the CD is also a limited release because you can only find it on iTunes and Amazon.

But the fact that it is doing well means that maybe Lionsgate might consider releasing the movie nationwide. The CD should be available everywhere!

The bad news is that the soundtrack features only four songs by Paris Hilton and not a single solo song. Yes, very disappointment! They didn’t even include some of the songs that Amber Sweet sings in the movie. So no, you won’t find the famous “Come Up And Try My New Parts” song. We have to wait until the movie is released on DVD later this year and see if will include some unreleased Amber Sweet footage. Perhaps, they might release a second soundtrack if the movie does well. Paris said that she recorded nine songs for the movie!

I haven’t had the chance to listen to all of the songs, but I recommend you to listen to these new songs: “21st Century Cure”, “We Started This Op’ra Shit” and “Chromaggia”.

More news on Friday!
