Repo! The Genetic Opera Soundtrack Deluxe CD back on Hot Topic!

The extended soundtrack of Repo! The Genetic Opera in physical format is now available again for purchase on the Hot Topic’s website.

If you plan to buy the new CD, you can save $10 by entering this special promo code during checkout: BDAY09HT

The code was supposed to expire on March 1st, but it looks like it’s still working fine!

Finally, the extended soundtrack is still not available on Amazon.

What an extremely disorganized release, though!

unfortunately that code only works if you already have an account. if you’re a new member then you can’t use it.

sigh. i’ll have to wait for amazon especially sicne HT shipping is so expensive that without the discount, it’s not worth it.

And it’s sold out again

I was just going to report that!

The shipping would cost me $30, which is ridiculous. So I agree, I would rather buy it from somewhere else, like Amazon.

Now that I’ve listened to all of the new songs, I’m kinda disappointed. I guess I was expecting more. There’s not enough of new songs on the extended CD. Plus, there’s nothing really special about instrumental songs like Before The Escape and A Ten Second Opera.

Well, that’s ok! But I still can’t believe how disorganized the release has been. I mean it’s sold out again on Hot Topic. Why don’t send in more CDs? Is Lionsgate afraid to produce more? When you release something on a fixed date, you’re supposed to release it properly in order to make most of it. Makes you wonder who’s in charge of the distribution!

Another problem is Lionsgate. If they had promoted the movie, it would’ve done so much better. It’s like they really don’t care about it. Right now, Repo! is like an incompleted project. I think it deserves a lot more attention and success.

Lots of people should be listening to Happiness Is Not A Warm Scalpel, Zydrate Anatomy and Come Up And Try My New Parts! It would make a difference to Paris’ musical career.

But somewhere down the line, something went wrong!

The Hot Topic near me does not carry this extended CD. But I have the Repo DVD and the first CD so I’m happy. I only want to listen to Happiness is not a Warm Scalpel anyway. I think this is the song which emphasizes Paris’ acting and singing abilities the most.
