Repo! Won’t Be Released On April 25th

Confirmed Report

The production team of Repo! are three months behind, and they’re still trying to come up with marketing strategies. It’s clear that the director Darren knows that this movie isn’t ready for a release any time soon.

So yeah, don’t expect it to be out this Spring. Very disappointing!

In an interview with Fearnet, Darren said that they cut some songs. There were sixty-five songs originally, but they cut them down to fifty-seven songs. Also, some scenes won’t be shown, but he says that they might release an extended version of the movie with DVD bonuses, etc.

I strongly suggest you to read the interview. It’s very interesting.

Thanks to Kevin

I can’t wait to watch this movie. just hop it’s a worldwide release, or I’ll have to download it from some ilegal website.
Do you have any idea of when there’s gonna be a trailer (the one that is in YouTube is actually a teaser)?

This is really bad news for me. I was so excited for the soundtrack and the movie as well! Atleast I get to see TH&TN first so I can see how her acting improves!!

Anyways I’ve been chatting with this lady on myspace who’s actually seen Repo! and has interviewed Paris many times (for TH&TN and Repo!). She say’s Repo! is very good and Paris’ best acting yet, she also says Paris is really sweet and nice. I told her if she ever interviews Paris’ again to ask about her music.

i’m also really excited to see this. I love different, risk-taking films. However, I’m willing to wait longer if the production team needs more time to make it great. I want it to be successful.

Yeah I agree, this movie is going to be fucking amazing! I just hope the world embraces it and everyone goes out to see it! I have a feeling critics are going to love this one, it’s something new and fresh. Not those plain cookie-cutter movies that have been coming out!

I can’t wait for the soundtrack and the movie! Everyone make sure to go out and watch this and buy the soundtrack to help support Paris! This is going to re-instate her acting career for sure. I just can’t wait for August 8th to roll around so I can take all my friends go to watch this! (Hopefully it’s not rate R so I can buy a ticket to help the movie).

I’m 90% sure it’s a whole United States release (wide), not sure about it being world-wide. It says its budget was 45 million which is a lot so it should be world-wide or at least United States (wide)
