Tao of Mag from the Repo! The Genetic Opera stage play

Here’s “Tao of Mag” from the original Repo! The Genetic Opera stage play. This version is not sang by Sarah Brightman, and it is not as good as the one in the movie! But enjoy!

I really wanna see the full film version. It sounded pretty epic. I think they need to release both Tao of Mag and the Bravi! clips.

The lack of news is no fun at all. Although I did find something interesting, about Rich Prosecco. Apparently its not meeting sales expectations. Which obviously led to idiots blaming Paris since she is the face of the drink but the owner said Paris is the perfect person to be the face and that they’re planning more advertising campaigns. So that should be cool. A new photoshoot to look forward to!

I was also thinking about Paris’ music career. I think she needs to release a single soon. But it made me think is she actually going to have My BFF, Paris for President, Jailhouse Baby, Girl Tax, Crave and Platinum Blond all on the album? I dont think she should. The last bit of news we got about the album was she was recording some new tracks for it. What I think Paris should do is put My BFF up on iTunes. Paris for President.. well thats all over and done with. That can just sort of fade away. Jailhouse Baby I think should either just be a bonus track on the album or a B-Side. Platinum Blonde I think would be nice as an album filler track, maybe even the second or third single. Crave and Girl Tax I think they both have a very familiar sound and I dont think they should both be on the album. I’d be leaning towards Girl Tax to be on the album, it’s just a really catchy and cheeky little girl-power anthem. Crave would be nice as a B-Side. But those are just my thoughts. I think if she is releasing the album in Summer, there needs to be a single out by the end of May.

scot,

Where did you read that about My BFF?

I read the article about Rich Prosecco. I was going to post it, but I’m not sure if it’s accurate.

About the album, Jailhouse Baby (and maybe My BFF) should not be included on the album. My BFF is a fun song, but I’m not sure if it should be included. Maybe as a bonus single. Jailhouse Baby should be a bonus single, too. Honestly, I don’t really like the song. There’s something unattractive about it… Paris for President, no!

Platinum Blonde, Crave and Girl Tax , yes, those are fresh and kewl songs. Platinum Blonde sounds really fun!

But I really hope that most songs on the new album will be better than what we’ve heard so far. :S

Oh yeah, the lack of news is a well deserved break for me! Only 4 weeks left until the semester is over. I have to so much to do, but I can’t wait until Summer!

The thing about My BFF was on Wikipedia (I know) apparently she confirmed at the party you posted about, the one of her in the silver dress.

It wouldn’t surprise me if it was true about Rich Prosecco, especially in these economic times, people wouldn’t exactly be rushing out to buy cans of champagne.

I actually really like Jailhouse Baby. But I can easily understand how you can’t like it. It’s very cutesy and a bit… childish like calling the judge a desperate wannabe. But I just really like the simplicity of it, the clicking/clapping I thinks real catchy and just those little lyrics of her thanking the fans. My BFF is a really great song, which is why I think Paris should just release it as a single on iTunes. It would be killing two birds with one stone, promoting My BFF and showing what direction she is going with her new music. I wouldn’t mind if it was a bonus track. Back onto Jailhouse Baby, I think it should be just a B-Side. I don’t think Paris will disappoint us. Stars are Blind is a killer song, but just from hearing that did you expect all the killer tunes that are on her album? I personally expected a bit of a mediocre pop album. Paris knows her music, even though the production on this album might not be as big, I think she is smart and she knows people – she’ll deliver. Her voice is stronger, she’s got a better sense of direction… we just need to hope she focus’ 100% on the music. But I have faith in her.

I think we’ll get a 12 track album filled with sexy, shiny, slick, synth heavy songs. It may be less of an urban sound and more of a metallic pop, but it will deliver. And if not, you can all throw rocks at me.

Actually, I knew the debut ablum was going to be a killer one, before Stars Are Blind was released! 😉

You see, I and a few fans had already heard a few samples, namely, Jealousy, NITW and Turn It Up, months before the album was released.

Even before hearing those samples, I knew Paris well enough back then, and I knew that she was going to release something big. There were reports about Paris and Scott making “amazing” music, etc.

When SAB came out, everyone loved it and it got popular, but a few fans, including me, were more excited about the album. Well, those were the good old days of summer 2006!

If anyone’s wondering, there is no full “Tao of Mag” clip from the movie. They ran out of money before Sarah B. could finish recording the song, so what’s in the movie is what was recorded.
