The premiere episode of My BFF 2 attracts fewer than 900,000 viewers

USA Today reported that the premiere episode of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF 2, which is currently airing on MTV, attracted 809,000 viewers when it first aired last week on Tuesday, according to Nielsen Ratings.

The premiere of season two lost 591,000 viewers from last season’s premiere episode, which attracted 1.4 million viewers, if I remember correctly. The final episode of season one reached the show’s peak: 1.8 million viewers.

I think fans will watch it just cause it’s Paris, but casual viewers are over the gimic.

This season is so blah comparerd to the last two. I’m more excited for Dubai BFF & the new show that Ryan Seacrest is producing for her.

It might pick up. The first episode wasn’t so-so great, but things will get a bit more serious, so it might eventually attract more viewers. The numbers should increase after a few more episodes.

For Paris’s and the show’s sake I hope so. I gas the first ep a really harsh review,
But after watching it again, it’s grown on me a bit. It’s just not as real as the other 2. Ok just approaching this season with a sillier frame of mind this time.

Apprently she has invited the MySpace celeb Brandon Hilton to join the cast for season 3 according to his blog, that could be interesting. I hope the ratings foe this season pick up enough so that it does get renewed.

well, i still like it. i may be wrong but, it seems like mtv is not promoting it as much now as they did before. also, it’s not being re-run as much as the first season was. i think that means less opportunity to attract an audience beyond the fans who ere waiting for it to start.

i’ll still watch tonight, and thanks enkil for uploading the eps!!!

and for having my back.
