omg she barely had that much coke on her, obvs its personal use and its not like shes dealing. ONCE AGAIN sense shes a celeb they made a big deal about it.

how come my friends (ages 18-23) run around freely doing coke all the time and some that have been dealing it for years DONT get caught but poor Paris does… she has bad luck with this, actually no she just gets picked on cause shes paris hilton. wish her the best of luck, she just needs to do that kind of stuff in her own home or somewhere private. not on the vegas strip

I’m going to disagree and say she has a wonderful opportunity to change herself for good. Yes, she shouldn’t be caught with drugs in public, but she also shouldn’t be doing drugs privately. It may be no one’s business, but that’s not a good attitude. Nothing good is going to come out of it. And she shouldn’t say to herself: “oh damn, I got caught this time.” No, her focus shouldn’t be hiding something or proving the judge and the haters wrong. It’s about saying “I can do it” and changing her behaviour in becoming a better and respected person, a more mature and responsible person.
It’s ok to have fun and party, but do it the right away and don’t let others influence you!

So glad that this sentence wasn’t as harsh as I thought. She can complete the 200 hours just through her normal charity work and she doesn’t have to check in with a probation officer. I really hope that she’s learned from this whole incident and is able to put her party girl past behind her for good. Other celebs have done it and I’m sure she can too. She’s obviously not a drug addict like other celebs so I’m sure she won’t have any problems 🙂

I am not a hater. Most of if not all the lovers and haters out there have done drugs at some point. And they may have even been caught. They just love to hate. And they will hate Paris even if she starts performing miracles and saving the entire world.

I agree with Kevin all the way. Paris was not driving, not endangering anyone. She was not dealing. She had a small amount of drugs for personal use. I feel her sentence is harsh.

I am not saying Paris should or should not do drugs. I do believe it should be her decision if she wants, to do it in a responsible way, as in private. Of course this is a ‘wonderful opportunity’ to explore not doing drugs for the next year, because if she does do them and gets tested positive, she goes to jail. After that, keep it cool, with or without drugs.

People have been doing drugs since the dawn of man. Some drugs have been deemed illegal, and others legal. It doesn’t mean that the legal drugs are better. Alcohol, cigarettes and prescription drugs are the biggest drug killers in this country, and they are all legal. Does that make it the right way, or a better way to party? IMHO, no.

Again, there are laws against homosexual conduct in many states. Does that mean it is the wrong way to party? It just means some laws are wrong and need to be changed. Till then, watch your step.

I feel drugs, prostitution, and gambling should all be legalized for adults. Cut out the mafia and the industry of punishment for profit.
