Video: Watch The New Paris Hilton Interview With Ellen DeGeneres!

New Interview!

The audio/video associated with this article is unavailable.

This is a more and less interesting interview. Contrary to what she said on her website, she didn’t even mention the word “jail”! So luckly for us, time wasn’t wasted. Maybe, she just didn’t have time to discuss about it with Paris. “Jail” aside, the first part of the interview was mostly about the invented articles that pop up on Fake news sites. I can’t believe the crew of Ellen thought that was an interesting topic to talk about. It’s also incredible how popular these articles get! However, Paris had some interesting things to say about them. The rest was all about the same stuffs, the same old annoying questions. Once again, Paris is asked about having a baby!

By the way, this morning, there was some talk about the fake elephant story. Hollywoodtoday.net reports that Paris’ publicist, Lori Glass Berk recently said “we have no idea where this absurd rumor came from, but this is just another example of people putting words in Paris’ mouth.” Of course, ParisHiltonSite.net had already confirmed that the article was an invention first created and published by the famous Daily Star UK.

The AP received the article from WENN. WENN now says that they read it from Daily Star UK. Finally, AP Entertainment editor Jesse Washington told The Times: “The irony in the story was obvious, but it doesn’t change the fact that you have to verify it. This time we didn’t, and we got burned.” So when are these media people going to understand that almost everything that comes from Daily Star UK is fake? And AP has gotten burned over Paris Hilton news many times before!

Back to Ellen and Paris, the second segment of the interview gets a bit more interesting when Paris starts presenting her new clothing line. It looks like the people in the audience were really impressed by her clothes. I guess it was the first time they saw them. Paris also introduced her new fragrance “Can Can” and talked about it.

Overall, this was better than the interview she did with David Letterman a couple of months ago. Ellen is a great interviewer, but as usual, she isn’t very informed about Paris.

It was such a softball puff piece. A love-in. I was surprised, glad, but somewhat disappointed. Makes me wonder if Paris & her people had told Ellen going in that discussing her jail time was off limits.

Good for Paris. Chicken-shit of Ellen. She was bragging back in June she was going to tell Paris she shouldn’t have acted so dumb, like she was dumbing down the whole country even, she needed to change her act & get in line & grow up etc. & she was going to have her on her show & tell it to her face!

Liar. Maybe too much time has passed. Maybe Ellen was just like a whole bunch of celebs, beating up on Paris when it was fashionable, when it would have been brave to back her. If Ellen had any balls. But clearly today’s show showed she doesn’t.

Paris has balls. She went on Letterman and had to know she was going to get nailed. But she stayed strong. & even if today she had read Ellen the riot act before the show, more power to her. She’s bigger than Ellen. Ellen needs her, not vice-versa. Paris is in control of her life now. Time is now for her to call the shots. Paris rules.

Haven’t seen the interview yet but I don’t think the fake articles thing is a waste of time. I think it’s good to get it out there and stated for the record to non-fans and casual audiences that a lot of the things posted about Paris are wholly or mostly false. Too many people jump to believe anything that paints Paris in a negative or foolish light (that’s not her fault of course as many people are hypocrites or living in the Victorian era for doing so).

This is deff one of the better interviews. Ellen was very sweet to Paris and it seems like the audience LOVED her. Wow I’ve never seen those 2 shirts from the Paris clothing line.

I thought that Paris was great. No canned answers. She was funny, beautiful, and nice. Good to see that she was so happy.

(Also, I don’t think that she’s going to have an album out for awhile. Her last album just came out about last August. It’s pretty rare for an artist to put out two albums within a 1 yr- 1 1/2 yrs. Plus, she’s got so much going on, it doesn’t seem like she has any time to focus on it right now. Maybe it will come out next holiday season or so.)

I also think she’s going to wait and see how Repo! does. They might want to release one of her songs to promote the soundtrack and see how it does. But I agree, a new album would definitely come after Repo!

Right now, she may be trying to shape up her image and promote herself with all these smaller projects.

However, I still think it would be nice if they ask her a couple of questions about her music. It’s been awhile.

I agree it would be nice to get to hear her talk about some things like an album instead of when she wants to have a baby. But, after the letterman fiasco (Booooo Letterman!), it was chill to see her do well with an interviewer who respected her. Maybe they’ll ask next time or when Repo comes out.

She really does look happy discussing her projects, whether it was the Scream awards or Ellen etc, she seems happy and proud. Hopefully, 2008 will go as well as 2007 is ending.

I hope she has album out by summer. A lot of people put albums out in between years. Like Jonas Brothers, there first CD came out August 7th 2006 then the 2nd CD came out August 8th 2007 and there 3rd CD is in the works right now for another summer release.

Also Rihanna released a album one after another! I thought it was from just 1 album but it was actually 3 different ones!

But also I do agree, all these small projects and interviews are improving her image for the most part. I hope Repo! really changes peoples thoughts on her singing and have Hottie improve her acting career too. I hate people who STILL make her out to be a wild party heiress. That was so fucking along time ago.

I am pleasantly surprised and thought the interview was good. As far as addressing the runours, why not, the general ellen audience seemed like they are the type who may not be so up on what’s true and what’s not. Also, it shows just how much reporting on Paris is intenionally fake and derogatory, so the more people are aware of how much this happens to Paris, i think the better. That way they will know in the future how unique this is to reporting on Paris and willl be less apt to believe crap about her. I like how Ellen pointed out what a genuinely nice person Paris really is.

Further, I also would like it if people would stop asking her about having a baby, however, since she is so linked to Nicole, i suspose it’s only natural. Also it gives her another chance to quell rumours (ie, she’s jealous of Nicole, blah, blah, blah) and address it herself, which I think she has quite well. I think all of us girls can relate. When our sisters or girlfriends get preggers, eventually someone asks us if we’re next. Personally, i think it’s uncouth, but apparently most people don’t mind being so overly familiar asking others about their reproduction!

i would love to buy paris’ clothes. The tops and jeans looked really cute and upscale for the price point. i really like Can-Can alot.

overall i was really pleased with the interview. Paris looked so amazing as usual and she seemed really happy. She is such an exquisite and alluriing person i just don’t see why people try and bash her.
