Inside Paris Hilton’s recording studio

Nylon magazine published an article about Paris Hilton in their November 2008 issue. Kevin highlights a few interesting passages from the article regarding Paris’ music:

the writer was invited to paris’ house and they went into her recording studio and they said there was a picture of madonna in it and paris looks at the picture when she sings. also paris played the writer a couple of songs from her new album and the writer said its a lot more dance-y than her last album.

and taura jackson who worked on paris’ debut and is working on this album had this to say about it : “a lot of people probably never thought she’d have a second album, but when it hits, people are going to be like, ‘Oh my God, she did it again, and its good, again.’ its kind of like a graduation”

and alonzo jackson said : “other people try to preform a lot of vocal acrobatics and other things that aren’t necessary, but she is more passionate.”

The nylon link is ok. It’s clear you have to read the actual mag to decipher anything meaningful. It’s also weird who they think of as really famous.

(Also, the reaction from their readers regarding Paris was ROUGH. nothing mean, just their “disappointment” over putting Paris on “their” mag cover.) Oh well.

Nylon readers are being surprisingly not mean about her being on the cover. Hopefully readers will open up and see the real Paris.
Also they had this really cute thing in the magazine where they told a story about fairies and introduced Fairy Dust.

Rumors are going around that this song and video is actually NOT the official single and that the video was just made for

Can someone look into this?

I thought Swag House Media was a record label? Then what is it?

Keep in mind that Paris For President is a song from her new album. Plus, she filmed a music video for it.

I don’t really get it, though. I wish there were more info.

If it’s not for her album, then when is the album actually coming out. There’s almost no press for it as it is. i thought that’s what the video was for.

The Paris for pres thing is getting played out. The secon one (Martin Sheen) one got about 1/100th the press and buzz of the first. The first one was a cute fun response, read relevant. The follow up stuff is getting kind of played out. If she’s not using it to publicize her album, why keep doing it?

Because she CAN keep it going. And she is Paris Hilton. I love it.

I think Swaghouse is a subsidiary of Hilton Entertainment.
