Excerpts from my 4 "Free Paris" postcards sent to Miss Paris Hilton, #9818783, in jail, Lynwood, CA, June, 2007.
(To which Paris responded after she got out.)

I knew she was supposed to be out of course, but this is my first time seeing this.

How you get to see her walk in slow motion, in silence.
She walks softly at first but then turns the entrance way to the jail into her own personal runway/getaway.
She turns on the high beams...

It’s her show.
Her latest release.
Her graduation.
Her freedom.

She looks at turns...
Healthy. Glowing. Relieved. Grateful.
Excited. Happy. Young. Ecstatic.
Composed.
Magnificent.

…Never better.

This is what Paris' grand exit reminds me of. Of me imagining telling Paris what I see in that video. Cut to a short scene from the movie, Philadelphia Story.

PPS I am the only one so far who has left any well wishes there on Paris' MySpace, celebrating the anniversary of her freedom.
But maybe now someone somewhere will pick up on it & follow my lead.
But I doubt it.

Maybe I'm just nuts for caring so much about it.

Paris walking free, running into her mother's arms and smiling to be free are the only things I want to remember from that whole terrible time. I'm still enraged by the injustice a year on, but those memories of Paris walking out a free woman are still a source of inspiration and comfort when I'm the one needing to be cheered.

wow it´s been a while since that!!! So good Paris came out gfor good and people barely thinks about that, so cool to see Paris is better than ever!!!
