Instead of having comments on the news item in the main page you could have links to the "news item" post in this message forum. that way it will encourage people to discuss them herw.

If you want to see what I mean take a look at http://breatheheavy.com
They do that. That's a Britney Spears fan site, the most popular one. By the way, Britney and Paris ARE friends and I know that for a fact so please treat the people there nice even though some of them there, or here, won't believe that.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think it's interesting, but the problem is that I'll have to make two topics for each news item.

I created the forum especially for fans. I think the main site is for more news and analysis, and I don't want to mix both of them together.

I think it's Ok if people want to discuss here about a certain news item I've posted on the main website, and I actually I just posted a topic about the new movie.

I understand what you mean, but I'm trying to keep the website separate from the forum.

But again thanks for your suggestion!

PS: Indeed, Paris and Britney are still friends.

Yes, but I'll probably have to create new forums in the future after it this one gets bigger. And another is problem is relevancy... for example, this topic has nothing to do with Paris.

Well, I'm not doing anything special at the moment as a moderator. By being a moderator, you have the power to delete threads or ban troublesome users. It's like being a police and assure that everything is going OK.

Now you know they still are friends. That was made up by tabloids to sell magazines. We all should've learned by now to not blindly believe what they write about Paris or Britney.

Well, allow me to retort.

How about what Britney writes about Paris?

The following is my comment to a story on theshowbizshow.com.
First the story.

Is Britney Suicidal?
Posted By: mikesinger

Britney Spears updated her website today with a long message that is basically about how she's misunderstood and how all the sensationalist journalists take the things she says or does and blow it completely out of proportion and some other stuff... I really just skimmed it... but then at the end of the message she said this about God: "I can't wait to meet him...or her." Can't wait to meet God!? What!?!?!
Is Britney suicidal!?

Kudos again, Mike. Yeah, I'd be just skimming her msg too, what w/that pic of her white-gloved hand sliding up her tanned naked breasts, heading on toward her throat... Wait! Is she going to choke herself?! Don't do it, Brit! That eternal dirt nap is a rude enough awakening, never mind the disappointment of finding out there really is no after-life or a God, male or female.

But seriously, one part of the letter's "other stuff" that did filter through to me was this: "This letter is to not place blame on anyone, although I do see the world with a completely different set of eyes now. Being in that vulnerable state and taken to dinners and parties with friends and finding out later you paid for everything was a huge learning lesson for me... I have had to cut so many people out of my life."

Like, not to place blame on anyone, friendship & good times is one thing, but money talks, bullshit walks. I mean those two damn bitches Paris & Lindsay totally stiffed me w/the bill every night. Hello! What do you take me for?

"...There is your side, my side, and the truth. Somebody has to figure it out." Like, don't look at me! I'm too busy now w/my mind on my money & my money on my mind, to seek the truth in this lifetime.

BTW, do you know where I can find a copy of that LA mag? That looks hot.

PS How about when "friend" Britney referred again to my other Number One Hun, Lilo, in her next open letter to her fans?

I say with friends like Brit, who needs enemies?

BTW, she does take direct shots as well at the name of Hilary Duff's latest album, Dignity, but as far as I know they were never friends. & now Brit has likely made sure they never will.

This is straight from her homepage, and has been up for 1&1/2 months now. Go check it @ britneyspears.com

"Britney is asking her most die-hard fans for some assistance in order to name her upcoming album.

Possible Album Titles:

1. Omg is Like Lindsay Lohan Like Okay Like
2. What if the Joke is on You
3. Down boy
4. Integrity
5. Dignity

I don't understand the point you are trying to make. They are friends. Do you really think Paris can't afford to pay for dinner even at the most expensive restaurant in the world? What she wrote is not about Paris. Do you think Lindsay Lohan would go to see her show at the House of Blues if they hated each other

Sort of off topic possibly, but this seemed like the best topic to hijack!

Enkil did you take down the page on Haters from the main site (I just noticed that it didn't seem to be there among the contents anymore)? It was a useful resource for when the same old people throw out the same old lies about Paris, for when other people bring them up.
