Reported by License! Global

Paris Hilton is pairing with retail operator Apparel Club for a collection of watches in the Middle East.

The new timepieces will be distributed through multi-brand concept stores beginning in spring 2015 in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Global licensing agency Beanstalk, which represents Hilton, brokered the deal.

“The Middle East is an important region for my brand,” says Hilton. “I personally love Dubai and travel there for business and pleasure regularly. I am excited to be working with Apparel Club on design ideas, incorporating inspiration that I’ve gathered from all across the globe. I look forward to seeing the new collection launch next spring–watch my social media channels for more news.”

The Paris Hilton brand and licensing activity is managed by Paris Hilton Entertainment, in collaboration with Beanstalk. This new range of watches extends the Paris Hilton lifestyle brand, which already consists of 17 categories such as shoes, handbags, eyelashes, nails, sunglasses and clothing.

“Paris is widely admired for her glamorous style and charismatic personality. Her brand has incredible broad appeal as evidenced by her $2 billion-plus global business,” says Lisa Reiner, managing director, Beanstalk, Europe and Asia Pacific. “The new watch line adds another element to her existing lifestyle offering and seamlessly translates her equities as a fashion icon for fans of all ages.”
