Paris Hilton’s My New BFF series help boost Lionsgate’s revenues

Paris Hilton’s successful TV series, My New BFF, is partly responible for boosting Lionsgate’s revenues, according to a press release. For past 12 months, Lionsgate has increased its international sales of TV shows by 127%, thanks to shows such as Paris Hilton’s My BFF and Scream Queens.

However, as a distributor for movies such as Repo! and Saw, Lionsgate saw its movie revenues increase by only 20%.

Her show is really everywhere. I’ve watched it when I was in Chile (so it means it is distributed to whole Latin America) and Brazil. I also know that it is being shownin Germany as well. Good for her!

Well, here in Portugal there were big signs with her face on the trains and everything.

Yeah! It’s being shown everywhere. That’s awesome. But imagine what the Dubai version would be like if it’s successful in the Arab world!

It’s taking ages for any of the seasons to come to Australia. I even emailed MTV AUS to ask if they planned on airing BFF or British Best Friend at all and they never answered me 🙁

I’m happy too that Doug and Paris are back together. They seem so copatible in every way.

I’m also happy her shows are doing well.
And really, a 20% increase for the movie portion of the business is nothing to sneeze at either.

Benji, channel 9 brought the rights to the show didn’t they? I was so sure they were going to air it because in all the channel 9 news programmes whenever they reported about Paris being out and about they always mentioed the show, they never did on other channels

If it’s successful in Dubai, most likely MTV will air it!
